When did you purchase from Tesco and did you actually receive an order confirmation or delivery note? I ordered one for my hubby on 10 November and my sister asked me to order one for her on 11 November as I do all her online ordering. Tesco were apparently having trouble with their system that weekend and we did not receive an order confirmation for either of the tablets and we did not receive a delivery note either so we actually have no Proof of Purchase and I phoned them and spoke to a girl called Leanne at Tesco Customer Services and, although she was very pleasant and courteous, I was getting nowhere. I was requesting that they send me the 2 Order Confirmations so that I could upload my claims to Samsung and also so that we actually have a Proof of Purchase if anything goes wrong with either tablet. She couldn't apparently do that and she couldn't change my account information on Tesco to read 'Despatched' as it is still sitting at 'Still to be despatched' for both items as of today's date. I am now at Day 51 and the claim has to be completed by Day 60. She said she can request a VAT receipt so I said yes to this but I also submitted this request myself just in case she did not. I spoke to her on Day 23 (3 December) and she said the VAT receipt could take up to 6 weeks which obviously was no good to me as it would then be over the 60 days which I explained to her. She then said that 'Tesco would honour the £50 because they had not supplied the correct information to allow me to claim' I repeated what she said and she said that was correct. I don't believe that Tesco would actually do that at all, does anyone else or has anyone else had this conversation with Tesco Customer Services staff? She said I might actually get an email within 2 weeks and that she would pass it 'through the back' but that they had a backlog.
I also asked about the £20 giftcards which were offered until 11 November and should have been received by 21 November but she said they are working on them and again, due to the backlog, will be later in coming out so don't know if we will get them or not. Although it did say that the offer was available until 11 November but 'could be taken off at any time' or something to that effect, so don't know if it was still on Tesco site when I ordered both or if I got the information only on MSE forum.
I remember someone on here a few months ago giving information on how to contact the CEO office (I think that was the office) and it was either an email address or telephone number. Does anyone have that information as I would like to email firstly or telephone (but I always think that complaints are better in print for the record) to see if they can force someone to send me the email confirmations to allow me to get these claims submitted as I only have 9 days left and I'm afraid that I forget. I've waited this long to see if the VAT receipts might arrive but to no avail. Apparently the CEO office do take action. I also spoke to a man at Tesco Customer Services or possibly Technical Services who was so arrogant that he nearly had me in tears so I gave up on that call! I also spoke to a lovely lady called Denise the day after I ordered the tablets, just to check that the orders went through okay because I had not received any confirmations and she explained about the problem they were having with their system and that the Technicians were working flat out on it but both orders had been received okay. She promised to phone me the next afternoon to confirm that they would be in our local store for the collection on Monday, 12 November and, true to her word, she did call back. She was very courteous and helpful. I wish I could get her on the phone again but it's just your luck who you get through to. Hopefully someone can help me with this as it's too much money to lose and we only ordered them from Tesco because they were offering this £50 cashback linked with Samsung. I've phoned them up twice now and both times they've refused to refund me £20 and told me that they will be sending the gift cards soon but they can't say when it will be.0 -

Tried on pc & tab, same issue on both.0 -
