anyone having a problem with drop down box for the date of purchase. only offers 5 dates and all pre my purchase date.

Well success! Collected my tablet for hubby's Christmas and also the one my sister asked me to order for her. Order the first one at 1.15 am on Saturday, 10 November and the second one at 1 am on Sunday, 11 November so that was a really fast delivery. Was a bit worried yesterday as I had not received a confirmation email. I know Tesco are having IT problems at the moment but I think we need to contact Tesco to ensure we each receive a confirmation email as we'll need this to claim our £50 cashback from Samsung.

No Delivery Note included with either tablet.

For hubby's Christmas but had a wee try when he went to bed and it seems fab. I've got a Motorola Xoom which I'm happy with also. I'll need to compare them but I think the Samsung is quite user friendly so far. Looks real good and I think he'll love it.

We only ordered our Sunday afternoon, got confirmation email straight away and picked it up yest and have to say I'm really pleased with it. :j

Called Samsung this morning. They are telling me that even if the tablet is reduced they will pay out the cashback. The lady I spoke to confirmed this with her manager.

They will accept applications for most retailers in the uk.

May just purchase one now as I was going to go for the Ipad mini instead.

I would advise anyone that has not purchased yet to check their terms and conditions before buying.

I collected my two at my local store yesterday (one for hubby's Christmas and the one my sister asked me to order for her) but the problem may be that Tesco are not giving Delivery Notes or receipts of any form (unless of course you purchase in store). Because they had a problem with their system and IT were working on it Sunday and Monday, some of us have not received email confirmation and if no Delivery Note, apparently an email confirmation from Tesco will be accepted so I am going to contact them shortly to request this.

Just ordered the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1in 16gb and once discounts are applied should get it for £149.19

Original price in Tesco is £238.00 as of 13th November
Found a new customer code for Tesco Direct which is £10 off = £228.00
I went through TCB for 4.54% cash back (before VAT) = £8.29 now stands at £219.71
Paid on my Capital One card which also has 5% cash back = £11.40 new figure of £208.31
£50 Samsung cash back = £158.31
not forgetting £2.28 in Tesco clubcard points which I always x4 = £9.12 leaving a grand total of £149.19

As long as my calculations are correct and all cash backs are honoured, I should have bagged a bargain by getting it less than half price of the advertised £299.99 in most retailers.

Amended to allow for TCB before VAT (Thanks Where's My Cash Back)

Someone posted on Tesco's Facebook page thinking that the gift vouchers were meant to be with the Tabs and Tesco replied with:

"Unfortunately we withdrew this offer due to us offering the promotion of 20% off the tablet. Could you please advise if this discount was applied when your products were purchased?

Someone posted that info in this thread and provided a link, I checked before ordering mine and the offer was indeed still on the site.
