Budget time....
Money in bills account: £158.51
Bills still to debit (May): £466.50
Difference = £307.99
Four Friday paydays are left in May (the last one will be tiny so I'm not considering it) so I am going to budget £90 per week to go to bills - this will also cover renewing my bus pass for another four weeks before I find out if I get parking at my new job!
Got paid £195.33 today. I'm not sure my maths is 100% right on the bills front so have transferred £100 to the bills account, bringing the balance to £254.10.
Bills to debit by next Friday: £36ish (Virgin) + £54 (bus pass) so there's plenty of pennies there.
I've also paid £5 to my online savings account. Every little helps and all that
I also got an email from Quidco confirming a whopping £1.08 payout so that'll go in the pot soon too
The £1.08 arrived :rotfl:
Credit card balance: £226.48
Available to pay it: £93.41
Outstanding balance: £133.07
There's £85 left in my spending account for the next week and I still have £8.32 in my purse from last week so that's a pretty good amount to play with. I've also sold some bits and pieces online this week so have £30 in my Paypal account at the moment. I'm just trying to decide if I keep the money there (free money for when the internet tempts me!) or throw it at my card. I'll see how this weeks budgeting goes I think!

£2 paid to the credit card this morning. I've also requested £21ish from PayPal. Some of that will likely go towards postage costs, but the rest can go to the credit card. I've also left £10 in my PayPal account in case I want a wee treat

Credit card balance: £226.48
Available to pay it: £125.06
Outstanding balance: £101.42
I've sold more bits and pieces and so withdrew more funds from Paypal, but have set some of this aside to pay for postage. I'll have a fun hour later wrapping up all my parcels! I'll need to make my credit card payment at the end of the week so I'm not charged interest - I think I will have to use a little money from my savings, but not as much as I had feared so I'm pretty chuffed with that0 -
Hey Mooomin!
Glad to see that you are doing pretty well financially.
How's the job going?Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

3 month Emergency Fund (#45): £3300/£33000 -
Credit card balance: £318.41 Increase due to postage costs for PayPal sales, buying new bus pass and a sneaky pizza
Available to pay it: £214.81
Outstanding balance: £103.60
I think that amount outstanding might be wrong, as there are transactions pending to be added that I can't see yet and there's a difference between what I know about and what's outstanding of £13.99. That's the cost of our sneaky pizza, but it's already on my statement, so I hope I've not been charged twice... Hopefully it will drop off my account in the next day or two.
Nowt else to report, just plodding along0 -
Credit card balance: £304.42 Looks like that other £13.99 has wandered off
Available to pay it: £214.81
Outstanding balance: £89.61
Less than £100 outstanding which is good
Tomorrow I get paid and will add £100 to my bills account which will take it to £264.20. There are no bills due to debit before next Friday, so that will just tick along with no drama. I'll have £109ish for myself this week, but I have a haircut on Saturday and that'll be £30 gone right away  The rest of the week will be a whirl of budgeteering0 -
Credit card balance: £341.82
Available to pay it: £252.21
Outstanding balance: £89.61
The amount on my card has increased but the outstanding balance hasn't. I had a voucher for £6 off a £40 spend at Sainsbury's so last night went and stocked up on catfood (enough for a month, easily!), meat for the freezer and some chocolate treats for Mr MoooI managed to go at reduction time, so got some good bargains including a huge lump of silverside beef for £3 :money:
I have £84.26 in my spending account for the week and £4.60 in my purse. That's a good amount for a week, but I do have a haircut booked tomorrow and lunch with friends which will reduce the amount of money I have significantly!! Still, you have to have some fun, don't you?
HAPPY FRIDAY :j:j:j
