I'm back
It's been a spendy month - both sensible spends (car insurance) and not so sensible (new Kindle Fire HD!). At least the car insurance worked out as a bargain - our renewal quote was £546 but I got us insured for £270 with £70 cashback due via TCB.
I had overspent on my credit card by about £200 this month but thankfully got a bonus from my old job - I still received it as they had made me redundant and I hadn't quit. So that cleared the excess. Current position is:
Spends/Food - £45
Bills - £329.80
I should have had a full months bills money in there by now and had a free week of money (I get paid weekly but budget four-weekly and there's five Fridays in March) but I was off ill for three days and don't get paid for it, which messes up my money. Thankfully the mortgage doesn't debit until the end of the month so I'll have it all sorted by then
Hope everyone is doing well, I'll catch up on all your news soon, honest!

Mooomin! I was starting to think someone had tipped you over while you were asleep and you were struggling to get up or something!
Glad you have finally 'fessed up on the spends and can get back to yourself. No judgement here....wait til my diary gets updated!

Hmmm.....went in to hiding again. I'm really struggling on temp wages, but hopefully a "proper" job will arrive sometime
Current position is:
Spends/food: £73.24
Bills: £365.98
Bills to debit before the end of the month: £345
There are two more Fridays (thus two more paydays) before the end of the month so that will add another £300 to the pot.
It's been a spendy month but lots of fun0 -
