Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have great day. Happy shopping. Hooray to Friday.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Worked late, called in at Mr As and stocked up on cheap OatsoSimple Porridge £1 not £2.26.

Never heard of Kennel Cough. Got to look it up. Our dog occasionally wheezes or coughs but we just thought that was whatt dogs (well, terriers) do. Didn't realise they got respiratory infections like that.

Restless night for me tonight :(

Am thinking about going to A's :rotfl::rotfl:

The latest I have been in is 2am (in my defence I set off before midnight ...!) and I don't work night shift so shouldn't really be there at that time ... it is a hive of activity though.

Is it just me or do MT, Vinnies and Activia take up a lot of storage space ...

Just a quick point for those doing calculations on how much each box of chocolates works out as. Remember that if you are buying fillers (flumps, refreshers, noodles or whatever) and don't normally buy/need/will use, these need to be factored into average cost of the deal. If you are going to use them then fine, you are just bringing the purchase forward, but if you are buying then giving it away, as some people have said, you have still had to pay for it. Obviously if you are using an APG to pay this offsets some of the cost, but there is still a cost and the small amounts of cash spent can mount up.

I am only raising this as I, and no doubt others, have done a ... few ... shops on the basis that they work out at less than a £ a box (and have only bought fillers that we can use), but this is not free and as a numpty who has used my credit card to pay for all transactions my spending pattern is visible and ... interesting ... :). And that is without the cost of fuel or time ...:o

That said, guess what people are getting for Christmas and birthdays if they fall before September...? (the latest BBE date - I will need to put in a stock rotation system :) ).

    Have a good day.

    Morning all :)
Tried the mt fingers face wash & activia last night & all worked :)
Trouting over how I got an apg from such a low spend :(
I'm really getting a bit annoyed about how these staff think they can talk to a member of the public the way they do! I would never dream of questioning a total stranger the way they do, they give us these apgs then they question us like we made the thing ourselves.
If it happends anymore I will be shopping at any other supermarket apart from As! Unless there's a glitch that is :)
