it has become quite tiresome, i don't care about facebook who's on and who's not, that is why i will not be quiet about this, i'm sure a few regulars on here feel the same but don't want to speak out in case it ruins their chances of an invite to the group. it's quite easy to see who is in the group by the way they have reacted to the incident earlier.

i'm also sure that we are all aware that some deals are found over there and not shared, but in my opinion that's up to the individual where they want to post results and finds. if only some would keep their attitude over on facebook too.
Quite frankly i think that there are enough fantastic people who do come on and share their finds here that we aren'tmissing out anyway.

i do realise that i will not be very popular after writing this post especially as it is against some of the well loved original elite, i used to love the original elites posts too, sadly i hardly recognise them from their usernames anymore:(

Just had a quick skim and seen lots of bickering. I would just like to say, I am part of said FB group. I don't post very often as I have nothing to say.:D

Any glitches found on the FB group are always posted over here by someone it is part of the Elite ethos to share with everyone.

It is so sad to see this thread descend into chaos once again. You will always get stirrers in every walk of life. Usually they are the ones that start the bickering then sit back and watch the fireworks.
BTW I am not pointing the finger at any one person.

Facebook have really been cracking down lately on what they suspect are fake accounts in the slightest. Please dont give the impression its okay as it may encourage vulnerable people to heed your words.

3Dogs: Posting this straight away, before catching up. I did a search but didn't find anything. I got DTD today

Tesco Finest Charles Bowes Extra Matured Norfolk Pork Shoulder Joint with Pork & Apricot Stuffing. Normally £7.99 a Kg but on yellow SEL at half price £3.99 a Kg. However, the 3 packs I got were marked up normally at £7.99 Kg, so I was given DTD with lots of apologies for the price being wrong

The SEL was current, till later in the month

Do you just buy it and pay the wrong price, then go to CS and query the price and they just give you the money back, or do they give you extra which sometimes makes them almost free. Sorry if a silly question, just cant get me head around it :eek:

Yes, if you can find it, check that the SEL shows the lower price and the price on the pack says the higher price, pay the higher price (saying nothing at the checkout), move away, check your receipt and if you have paid the higher price, head over to the CS Desk and point out you have been overcharged. They SHOULD then pay you double the difference (so effectively giving you a full refund).

On the fillers for A shops I just split my normally weekly staples over the shops as they as much the same price in all. Well that's the theory but then I add trainers, clothes etc:rotfl:
