Tiger - Hope tigercub is feeling better soon - it's such a shame when they're so small and ill as they have no idea what's going on and you feel so helpless trying to make them feel better. Thank god for Calpol though
Purdita and Budgie - I also absolutely love Auf Pet. It's one of my time favourite programmes and could happily watch every series on a loop constantly. Budgie you're right when you say Oz could do a good tune but he could also do with a good scrub as well - he always looked manky :rotfl:
Meant to say earlier for anyone still on the hunt for 50p Andrex twin packs, I only ever found one solitary pack which had been dumped on a shelf but yesterday spotted a whole free standing shelf full of them! They were nowhere near the other tissues but down the cleaning aisle so anyone wanting them have a look down the middle aisles and they may hopefully be on a random shelving unit with a huge red 50p sign above. Got to admit I relieved them of quite a few packs when I saw them0 -
Afternoon all
Completely lost my mojo after been reduced to tears in Argos of all places
Bought DS a watch/ stopwatch set for his bday, within a week the stopwatch has broken buttons are stuck completely frozen and paint has chipped off the watch which I wasn't that concerned about
Decided to return
SA asks a manager they inspect the watch and say he has worn it out and too scratched to give a refund, they will exchange the stopwatch
Ask twice to spk with the manager, kept waiting half hour and he won't show. Ask politely 3rd time for him to give me the courtesy of showing his face
So he comes and says the same argument. Offer exchange of stopwatch ( which I don't want because it is do tacky it will be broken again in another week!) and refuse to take back the watch
I know t&cs say they have to offer to repair then replace then refund but by golly I have been stood at the tills when items have been refunded no questions asked without receipts !
Anyway had couple unopened items to return as well
Asked for watch back while I speak with HO
SA first interrogates me on why I want to refund unopened items, then spends 20minutes inspecting them ( fair enough but they were sealed) then gives me the 3rd degree on whether my Debit card is mine or not!!!! Put card in pin machine. Then she asks me to sign s receipt, then she tells met signature doesn't match the card so she can't give me a refund only a gift card!!!!!!
Never have I with chip and pin been asked for a signature for a comparison with my card. I really hadn't got the will to explain I have 2 signatures ( my short prescription signing one of long normal one, had I known she would be scrutinising my signature I would have not scribbled my fed up short one!)
Any advice before I ring HO appreciated
Thanks
And no laughing!!!!!
That's awful. I bought lego on 3 for 2 last week, took one back today to exchange for a furby and i'm not sure if people know how difficult it is to open a lego box anyway, but they opened it to check no bags had been taken out, i was stunned. It was a sealed box, now i should imagine they have to return it to the supplier as they can't sell it now.0 -

I think it was raining and you were going to stand there holding the plate and cup out until they were clean
:rotfl: :rotfl:
I know someone who lives on a small holding and does all her washing up with rain water as has no mains service. She has to walk a bit to get her drinking water, so collects all the rainwater for washing.
Really pleased to hear such a fantastic sum was raised in memory of Mr 3Dogs. :A0 -
Hope this raises a smile. I found some halloween knickers in T's last night. Black with pink lace trim and covered in a tiny print of ghosts, crosses and a gravestone. BC ends 3689"Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0

My bf gets through tonnes of uht milk. I stock piled from Lidl when it was half price.
Oh give us a shout when it's on again I stockpile milk but the big supermarkets are price fixing ATM because all same price, which has been hiked.
Nightmare with my coffee rtd, stupid co last night put my haribo through all together, even though they differant. Had seven items not eight. Was proper mad, went CS for refund and re bought, good thing is I have ten petrol coupons now. :rotfl:SIMPLES!0 -
And the joke?????
I only mentioned that to explain why my signature in the refund script was shorter than the long one on my Debit card
It is a genuine faulty product, the fact that it comes as a set doesn't really give them the right to refund only part of the set iysm
I didn't want a replacement anyway the stopwatch was awful
Thanks for that purdy x
I didn't no you were a gp a thought you were just to say it lol.If you want to get with me there's some things you got to know,.
I like my beats fast and my base down low0
