  • I know exactly how you feel! I have 1 friend with 2 LO's but she's now working so I've lost her too, none of my other friends have kids. It would be nice during the week when we go to soft play for them to be sharing the experience with their own LO's but there we are. At least I'll be able to give some hopefully helpful advice when/if they do have their own.

I threw myself in to mums and tots groups, we went 4 days a week :o, the only problem I had there was most of the people there were grannies bringing the kids so still no one my age. I did however have a great wealth of experience to call upon if I ever had any concerns. I still see a lot more of them than my friends though. I think this is because of the age difference between my DS and friends kids, I still get left out when they get together because of DSes behavioural problems and the fact that their kids are all under 5 so they have a bit more in common now.

Although saying that I wouldn't change when I had DS because with hubbie dying I don't think I would have been able to cope with my son as a toddler at that time and know I would be in a much worse place than I am at the moment.

Can I just say thank you to all the good people on this thread. I have been a member of MSE for 6 years and have saved loads of money, made over £2000 in Quidco payments and made lots of new friends.

I have had a tough 4 years with lots of family problems but thanks to MSE I am able to deal with my creditors, pay my household bills on time and eat lovely things I could not usually afford.
I also now have some lovely things in my home that I could not have afforded before and that is also thanks to everyone on here.

So to all the good people a big thanks and a hug.

Well said, I couldn't agree more!

    Morning all.
Sorry but this made me smile henlans.
I dont always agree with what you and jjj have to say so i just skip those posts but between you 2 you do come up with some funny points. Its easy to see when you 2 are making trouble as i have 3 young kids at home.
I know you 2 push it sometimes just as we all do on here with our shopping.
  • Of course he does, so does his brother :rotfl:
Lol, you get more money off vouchers if you have multiple cards. The less you use them the more conditional spend coupons they send you so i try to rotate my cards around. We have 4 in this house. :D

    :rotfl: love it :rotfl:

Good choice- and I think some people need

    Elusive- Scott Matthews

:D Makes you feel like you've found God's iPod.

Right - won't post any more tunes for now but recommmend some people get over to the Soothing Music thread for a few:):) moments and get their blood pressure down.

Cheers Zagubov , I'd not heard of Scott before now as I don't listen to the radio stations etc but i will say I enjoyed that tune .

I had no idea about the SMT as I don't go wandering around MSE as my sat nav directs me to these threads ....maybe i should send it back as there seems to be a lot of interesting things out there .

I guess we're not alone (as they tend to say in Sci Fi flicks):)

    Have a great weekend .
