I may be mistaken but if I have a failed first shop it has cost me £10 - so £3.33 each (plus potentially a 1/3 share of fillers) for a failed shop.
If it was as calculated I wouldn't waste the petrol returning it (though that again is offset with a new glitch shop).
Many thanks

i think they may mean after the successful shops they have done each failed shop would just bring the price over all of each box up by pennies, suppose it would vary from person to person depending on how many you had done so far

Does anyone in NI know where does food bank ? Got loads of bits and pieces from fillers they may be able to use.
Think I'm going to start buying proper stuff instead of cheap fillers ( see list 1st page ) it seems like such a waste - although I am starting to like the flumps !!
Would need to start curing meat to use up all the salt I have :rotfl:although could come in hand if there is bad snow/ice
There is one in newtownards, not sure where but there are leaflets about this in the tesco there and they did a collection in there last year for it. I think there was a glitch on because I remember giving quite a few bags of stuff in and then going back into T's and getting more and handing fillers over againSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

She's not a happy bunny, she misses her beauty sleep but the baby did sleep from 1030 last night right through so she feels a lot better than she did yesterday morning when I went to pick him up, she'd only had 3 hrs sleep so I offered to take him for the day to let her catch up on house work and decorate the baby's room. I think I exhausted him, she's asked me could I have him regularly one day a week so she gets at least one good nights sleep a week :rotfl:
I must admit that looking after him tired me out too but we had a good time crawling about the house, watching all the fish and helping me get shopping in.
While I enjoyed it I'm glad I can hand him back as he reminds me so much of DS and how he never wanted to be on his bum or left alone in a room and also that little bit of isolation it can bring when no one you know has a child the same age. I was the first of my friends to get married and have a kid so none of them really bothered until recently when they all started having theirs:o
I know exactly how you feel! I have 1 friend with 2 LO's but she's now working so I've lost her too, none of my other friends have kids. It would be nice during the week when we go to soft play for them to be sharing the experience with their own LO's but there we are. At least I'll be able to give some hopefully helpful advice when/if they do have their own.May: Make £5 a day £115.38 / £155

Not planning on going to any shops today - OH working till 3 and has the car.
Might pop to Lidl later though - quite fancying a lasagne for dinner and really like theirs.
Went to the scrapstore this week so I'm starting to make some Christmas decorations with my 3 year old. They had some great cones - think they are the sort of thing industrial sewing machines have the thread on. So we are painting some green to make little Christmas trees, brown for reindeer, white for snowmen and black for penguins. Hopefully I can post some pictures in the next few weeks - we've only done the painting so far so just have different coloured cones sat around the house drying
(((hugs))) to those who need them
Aw that sounds lovely, can't wait to see the pics
I love messy play with DD but lack inspiration. Mam says it's easy but I get everything out and don't know what to do! Still, DD has great funMay: Make £5 a day £115.38 / £155

If the imperfect shop was the first my "loss" (cost really,) would be £11 ish inc. fillers, making unit price c. £3.70.
A perfect/normal shop gives a unit cost c.78p.
The more perfect shops the less the effect of the imperfect shop.
When my stupidity/lack of attention causes an imperfect shop I resolve to compensate by doubling my efforts to bring down the unit cost by completing more "perfect" shops.
As I said the current glitch is working out @ 78p/box, and one imperfect shop wont change that too much.
