Good morning
Not planning on going to any shops today - OH working till 3 and has the car.
Might pop to Lidl later though - quite fancying a lasagne for dinner and really like theirs.
Went to the scrapstore this week so I'm starting to make some Christmas decorations with my 3 year old. They had some great cones - think they are the sort of thing industrial sewing machines have the thread on. So we are painting some green to make little Christmas trees, brown for reindeer, white for snowmen and black for penguins. Hopefully I can post some pictures in the next few weeks - we've only done the painting so far so just have different coloured cones sat around the house drying
(((hugs))) to those who need themSilence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!0 -
Ill even quote myself. for the people that may not have seen it.HENLANS GLITCH ALERT
I just found this
Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil-Free Pink Grapefruit Facial Acne Wash (200ml)
20p in Waitrose and £3 in Asda. I bought a few from my local asda and it matched it.
Asda matches products that are out of stock!

I checked the MSM and its still showing as 20p so it should still work.
Thanks for the reply Henlans. I saw the details on this glitch. I can't use this product as it is too harsh on my skin and my kids are only 5 and 7 so don't need it yet lol.
I'm looking for the other glitches you have posted recently.

Morning all!
Had such a long day yesterday, so didn't manage to catch up!
Fairclaire-Congrats on your wonderful anniversary prezzies and for your 25th anniversary!:beer:tescobabe69 wrote: »On the brighter side I did an MT /vinnies shop at 12 ish and decided to do a circuit of town, on the route I bumped into a woman I know (shes in her sixties) after a chat I gave her a MT, she was really pleased, when her husband turned up he mentioned he was running a christmas raffle, guess what he got (a vinnies and an MT !), so I went back to As and did a couple of Thornton/MT shops before getting the Tesco bus home.
The bus driver was a very young Polish guy, hes got a MT for his girlfriend, I dont generally do that sort of thing but I felt a real need in myself to be positive.
Assuming the APGs come through OK It will have cost me about £3 - I feel a lot better, I've had a kiss, a handshake, three smiles, and four people are happier, now that is a bargain!
That is so lovely and generous of you!:T:Asign up to Ikea family and they send you a voucher for 100 tealights if that is any help
I've been one for ages and haven't recieved this:(Hi all,
Just a little update from me
Haematologist yesterday explained CT scan showed that there is actually more than one mass which would once again tie in with a lymphoma, unfortunately affecting more than one lymph node
One of them is pressing against a blood vessel so as of tomorrow i'm starting on blood thinning injections and steroids to help and try and prevent a blood clot and reduce some of the swelling. At least it feels as if we are doing a little something to help whilst we wait for a proper diagnosis.
This morning I had the lung biopsy. It wasn't a pleasant experience but I couldn't fault my care and thankfully all went to plan and they managed to get some good samples for testing. I got home this afternoon after being observed for a while and now just feel a bit tired, battered and bruised. Will take 7-10 days for results as they have to send the samples off to a different hospital. We're hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
Our friends and family have rallied round and we are lucky to have lots of support and offers of practical helpAfter a busy week I'm looking forward to a restful weekend spending time with the boys.
Thanks again for all of your support :A
Hugs to you Logie, hope the wait iss not too bad and hope you get some good news.I am proud to say Im a granny again, 4 babies now in 3 years : )
The bouncing (over 10 lb) boy was born on Tuesday but has been very poorly,he is now on the mend and will hopefully get home on Sunday, hospitals are wonderful places when you need them.
I cant wait to see him in Dec, its going to be a long 4 weeks.
Congratulations!!!:j:j:j Hope he gets well soon x0 -
tescobabe69 wrote: »My spreadsheet tells me the average unit price for chocs/biscuits is 78p, that includes the cost of fillers.
A failed shop would bring that up to £1.07 (ish)
Two failures would bring that up to £1.28 (ish)
I can live with either scenario.
I may be mistaken but if I have a failed first shop it has cost me £10 - so £3.33 each (plus potentially a 1/3 share of fillers) for a failed shop.
If it was as calculated I wouldn't waste the petrol returning it (though that again is offset with a new glitch shop).
Many thanks
