My Dad knows I like to save a few pennies here and there and look for savvy buys

But he's just phoned me and asked me to find a go kart for my little brothers Christmas, the cheapest he can find it is £199
Erm, I'm not a miracle worker! :rotfl:
So if anyone knows where to find a Kettler Nitro Go Kart for less than the £189 I've seen it for, feel free to let me know :rotfl::rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

, the only problem I had there was most of the people there were grannies bringing the kids so still no one my age. I did however have a great wealth of experience to call upon if I ever had any concerns. I still see a lot more of them than my friends though. I think this is because of the age difference between my DS and friends kids, I still get left out when they get together because of DSes behavioural problems and the fact that their kids are all under 5 so they have a bit more in common now.
Although saying that I wouldn't change when I had DS because with hubbie dying I don't think I would have been able to cope with my son as a toddler at that time and know I would be in a much worse place than I am at the moment.
When DD was born the midwives were constantly encouraging me to visit baby and toddler groups and I did try but I'm painfully shy. I feel awkward and don't know what to say
I'm having CBT to deal with very low self esteem so I think that anything that I have to say will be silly or irrelevant. I went because my DD enjoyed it but I found it very difficult. That's another reason why I lurked for a while before joining in here.
Sorry to hear about your husband and well done you for holding on. I don't know where I'd be without my mister and having a child is difficult, even more so if they have additional needs. Hope things get better for you and even though my DD is 2 I'm here if you ever need to chat.May: Make £5 a day £115.38 / £155

Can I just say thank you to all the good people on this thread. I have been a member of MSE for 6 years and have saved loads of money, made over £2000 in Quidco payments and made lots of new friends.
I have had a tough 4 years with lots of family problems but thanks to MSE I am able to deal with my creditors, pay my household bills on time and eat lovely things I could not usually afford.
I also now have some lovely things in my home that I could not have afforded before and that is also thanks to everyone on here.
So to all the good people a big thanks and a hug.
Rose , a thanks to you as well as I'm sure in your 6 years of MSE'ing you've helped out others who find themselves experiencing difficult times and hardships .
Together Everyone Achives More .

just a thought but can people please try and get off this 'get henlans' bandwagon. it really is very boring and doesnt really achieve anything useful. also, for the life of me i cannot see in any of henlans posts what he is supposed to have done wrong. in fact all i can see is that he is very helpful to people. so come on people, lighten up and lets all be one big happy team.
thank you.0 -
I`m back and waiting for the results which I may
or may not
post on here in about 2hrs

Lilbitcrazy, after reading some other comments from other posters, ive decided to take you off my ignore list for swearing. but please try and not offend non-swearing people in future. thank you.
I dont swear as a rule. Dont even say bloody to my children. I couldnt care less if I am on anyones ignore list so do as you please. I used to post but this thread just highlighted greed and hypocrisy so I gave up.0 -

No jackflaps today Mad , I'm down South visiting / rugby / catching up etc etc and don't know how to use the weighing scales .
Hope your keeping well mate and the busyness in your life soon departs so you can get down to Abbey Road and belt out that Christmas number 1 that we're all eager to hear (as another rendition of Tony Bennett singing Little Drummer Boy will drive me to drink all the Christmas sherry) .
Anyone seen Snap ?I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -
