Youre right, smarty-pants. There are massive idealogical differences between the two parties (As indeed there are in UK politics).

However, idealogical differences between political parties (Over here or stateside) matter not a jot when the parties actually deliver (when they get into power)

For instance did Guantanamo Bay close when Obama was elected? What about the American Troops in the Middle East? Pulled out?

Im so glad Obama won his first term... imagine if the republicans had got in and increased military spending and kept Gitmo ope- oh wait....
