Thanks forthe threads this is interesting - Your advice would be appreciated!
Inadvertently, we received a parking ticket. The parkingwarden had inserted the incorrect Reg number in the two places on the ticket, twice. The ticket stated - pay within 7 days £60 or £100 thereafter.
Upon reading blogs specifically around Excel Parking and incorrectdetails inserted on a ticket, the recommendation was to ignore them. A month orso later we received a ‘colourful’ letter from Excel demanding £100, however, this had the correct reg number on, they must have taken a photo of the car? The following month we received a ‘finaldemand,’ again for £100.
It’s been quiet for four months until we received a debt collector’sletter from Roxburghe, again we ignored it. A week later we have received aletter from Graham White Solicitors demanding £142 or they will take us tocourt to obtain £207.25 threatening that this will impact on our ‘impeccable’ creditrating.
Any advice would be appreciated!

How many times do you want the same answer?Oh the good old £207.25 a nice link provided for you to look at the about 1000 hits for this. They send that out to everyone, and by the way graham white are roxburghe pretending to be solicitors.
Take a look at my signature below, you will see Roxburghe and Excel have been banned from accessing the dvla data link for addresses because fraudulent gross misconduct, they may have got your details before the ban, but as I ask do you really need to know what kind scum run these companies?Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!

Advice is exactly the same as on any other thread about these jokers. IGNORE THEM!
Photos mean nothing, the threats to your credit rating are rubbish, the threats of court are minuscule beyond belief and the recent law changes do not apply - not that they mean much anyway!0 -
So what part of ignore if you are the RK is incorrect ? This has worked countless times over the years, especially with roxburghe as they never do court unless taken thereExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. I do feel that some of the information on here is incorrect. The reason being I will post on the outcome of my court case with Graham White in March 2013.
The final step in Roxburghes worthless crusade is a "Graham White" letter before claim in which they state that you were the driver. Not arguing your valid complaint, they proceed to a Northampton County Court Claim.
Incorrect, GW have only recently issued a handful of claims
One Note: the only solicitor regisgtered for Graham White Solicitors at the Roxburghe address is a Michael David Sobell who is in his seventies. This leads us to suggest it is a front and a blatent abuse of the court process to intimidate people to pay up.
Any Parking Charge Notice prior to 1st October 2012 is nothing more than a penalty.
Incorrect, before or after this date makes no difference to it being a penalty or not. Also some Charges may well not be penalties and could actually be enforceable, depending on various factors. Your statement is to sweeping
Excel Parking Services Vs Hetherington- Jakeman, Mansfield County Court 2008
So?, its one court case, it is not binding on any other court, nor is it persuasive

The whole private parking business relies on misrepresentation of authority. They are not the council, police or government, so they can't legally issue fines or penalties. All they have sent you is a civil invoice, which you have no legal obligation to pay or acknowledge.
Contacting them is generally a waste of time, their appeals process is worthless as it is not run by an impartial third party but rather by themselves so it's obviously within their interests to reject it.
Over 99.9% of the time they will not take you to court, because the more times they take people to court, and lose, the more chance that other members of the public get to hear that the invoices can be ignored. This would then lead to parking companies having no income because there would be no more gullible people left!
Taking people to court actually hurts their business ... Which is why they hardly ever try it.
Out of the 1.8 million private parking invoices issued last year only 49 were heard before a court and the parking companies lost half of those. The word "gullible" isn't in the dictionaryTickets: 19 [cancelled: 18, paid: 0, pending: 1]
PPC Appeals: 8 [accepted: 2, rejected: 5, pending: 1]
POPLA: 4 [accepted: 4, rejected: 0, pending: 0]0 -

One thing for sure, when Excell come up against the courts they certainly have a reliable track record. From the Plain Language Commission:
