Ahhhh thanks for the rough estimate ..... think I'll aim for £1500 in the first place then!

Only managing to put £25 / month away so fingers crossed it lasts a while yet!

Another thing to add to sig! .... will be nice to have a savings one as well as a debt one!;)

Ohhhhh and you've now given me a jog to have a hunt around for the best monthly savings account to set the new one up from next month - thanks:T

£1500 sounds like a good figure, no nasty surprises then :) From a limited understanding from watching my Dad as long as they're saying it's clean & should last as long as it's serviced annually that's a good sign! I shall keep my fingers crossed for you anyway though.

Yay I feel useful now :D Always good to get the best rate you can especially in these hard times.
Since having the water meter fitted we now wash up on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Anyone who knows me finds this hilarious as I can't stand a messy kitchen!

After tax and NI my bonus will only be £200. I might just spend £50 on myself (I don't have a waterproof coat!) and then pay the rest off a CC. After all, my whole tax rebate was swallowed up buying the new sofa-bed just so DS2 and his GF have somewhere to sleep when they visit every month. In effect I spent nothing on myself from that! :(

Sounds like a great plan, a nice treat that is also a worthy investment, go for it!

Just wanted to post quickly about how happy I am with my haul today - I have got approx £200 worth of items from New Look for approx £140 due to the 25% off code & cashback :j The old me would have just spent the £200 when I first saw them instead of waiting for discounts!

I got some presents for DH & some for me :o But I will [STRIKE]probably[/STRIKE] definitely return half of the things for me & then pass the rest onto DH to get me for Xmas.
