And removes any claim they may make regarding neutrality.peter_the_piper wrote: »""One of their concerns was PPCs not paying so the BPA had to step in and act as a 'factor' (i.e. up-front bill payer)!""
Now there is some hope, they know ppc's are not trustworthy. BPA won't do it for free so that's an extra charge for them.0 -
Now, why might that be??The_Seeker wrote: »Down with POPLA!0 -
No the don't. Only if you wish to kowtow to them do their claimed restrictions applyThe_Seeker wrote: »cos they ain't neutral and they severely restrict appeal reasoning.0 -
The_Seeker wrote: »I've already seen their application forms. U get four options but the real reason that everyone would legally escape a fake fine is for that reason it is a fake. Parking without paying machine prices never generates the bill they charge u in the invoices but POPLA don't consider that. In other words, they are a fake institution too.
The fourth appeal point covers just about anything.
I am not liable for the parking charge:
Although they use the car being stolen as an example, it could also be!
This is an illegal penalty and not a true estimate of any loss!
Then win or lose if the PPC bring it on then you have raised the point at appeal!0 -

U can tell because they seem to accept this "reduced settlement" argument which doesn't tally with the concept of damage to landowner.
POPLA is so obviously rigged in favour of the PPCs I believe we should only regard it as a means of further wasting the PPC's money.
