a good page, can we have some sharing links on the page please ((: :money:PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue. :eek:0 -
Noticed on popla site you can now do the appeal directly on web site rather the filling a PDF form inFor everthing else there's mastercard.
For clampers there's Barclaycard.0 -
Yes I was there this morning, they have altered a few things on the site as wellExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
How do you get access to this online POPLA form?0
-
https://www.popla.org.uk/appeal.htm is this it?
Still has this crap
Will the parking charge increase if I lose my appeal?
You will have already lost your right to the early payment discount offered by the operator and be liable for the full cost of the parking charge notice. If your appeal is refused, in order to avoid any further action by the operator you should pay the full parking charge within 14 days. Do not send any payment to POPLA.
Same crap on their newsletter. No mention of the fact that its not binding on the driver/rk, but it does imply that it is.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
I've read that in my own notes. It shows POPLA themselves have to be taught a lesson, either that or they are not competent to preside over such a matter. There is no such thing as an "early payment discount". The legal fee is estimated loss to landowner and this is one figure only. I'm not expecting much from POPLA but if they wish to play silly-boys, they will waste their time looping ad infinitum. You send templates, I send templates, you lose every time!0

I do not believe this! I cannot proceed because CP Plus, it would appear, have given me a duff verification number.
Now why would they do that!0 -
Just wanted to say thanks to all you guys and gals who take the time to give out advice about these scam invoices.
Luckily only 'invoice I've had so far was cancelled with a phone call to them pointing out I hadn't outstayed there two hour limit I the motor way services.
They insisted that there anpr CCTV system was infallible and that it couldn't possibly be wrong.
They quickly back tracked when I pointed out that I did indeed enter the services at 1900 and exited at 0700 the following morning, however as I entered the southbound side at 1900 as per there own fancy pants anpr and left at 0700 the following morning on the north bound side, then perhaps they may wish to revise there claim their system was indeed infallible.
I did point out to the that I'm sure someone would have seen me lifting my car over the m1 motorway via crane and that it was a bit much to go to that length just to save a few quid parking.
Cue the old "we'll cancel it just this once".... Oh will you, how kind.
Can't remember the firm, may have been excel... Morons0 -

Could you put the duff number on the popla PDF form along with a copy of the letter, maybe cp will get a ticking off from popla for being dumb, then again maybe not!0
