echeque not cleared

I am in a similar position also.
My auction ended 22 days ago. I state that payment is to be made within 7 days and my buyer still hadn't paid on day 8. I sent a 'nice' email asking if she had overlooked payment bla bla bla and then on 2nd April she sends me a eCheque which is still pending through PayPal (expected clearing date was 13th April).
Yesterday I reported it to ebay as an unpaid item and the buyer has sent me several abusive and threatening emails.
I have just logged in to my PayPal account and I am able to refund the payment (even though I haven't got it). I think I'm going to do that as this buyer has really cheesed me off.Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0 -
Like it or lump it, an echeque is still a vaild payment. Seems a bit harsh to open a dispute over it.My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0
