Shun knives

peppered
I've decided to treat myself to a set of top class knives and had settled on Shun but am struggling to find them anywhere. I found this site here in America which will ship them to England for a not unreasonable $18.

Does anyone know where to buy these knives at a good price?
Thanks

Is it me ?
I thought this was a money-saving site.
Spending £300+ on a set of knives seems extravagant to say the least.
It's probably me.Just for one moment, thought I'd found my way.0 -

I fully expect to still be using these knives in 15-20 years so seems a little bit better value then. :-)I am not young enough to know everything.

Peppered,
I'd be really grateful if you would reduce the font in your signature. It would make it much easier to read what you write in your posts.

It may be a money saving site, However you should never forget that we shouldn't skrimp on quality in our search for a bargain. I had a set of prestige kitchen knives they were ok for everyday use, But for anybody who enjoys cooking, working with quality knives makes the job a lot easier. and quality lasts (most of the time) !!!!!!!0

No, if you want to buy a car you want something fit for purpose.
Short distance commute Hyundai or Skoda.
Medium distance commute as above.
Commercial traveller BMW.
Countryside/off road Subaru.Just for one moment, thought I'd found my way.0 -
