Customers with Sky Multi-Room MUST keep their boxes connected to the same fixed and operational phone line, otherwise Sky will charge full price for the additional subscription(s).0 -
Disconnected the phone line when I was repositioning the tv about 5yrs ago and have never got round to rerunning the cable.I have had sky engineers up a couple of times since then and they have never told me to plug in again.I don't buy pay per view as the sky is expensive as it is.I don't really see the need to be pluged in and I have already disconnected .
I didn't have the phone connected, and asked the Sky installation guy and he said it was fine. I actually wanted him to say it was a problem (so I could go back to the installers) but he said it wasn't necessary.
He said it was only an issue if we wanted pay-per-view movies, which we don't use.0
