Hello mutsnuts, you must be they guy that is spamming the hell out of their facebook page.
I hope you get this resolved. You might be better off going in there during a quieter period and speaking with the store manager. If (s)he has a problem with one of the staff doing things like this, then I can imagine they would like to hear about it.
Its good that you have reported the crime to the police, make sure you get a crime reference number.
diamonds advice above sounds very good. Definately go to the citizens advice and report them to your local authority trading standards, who may have more power in this case than the police. Retailers will take visits from trading standards very seriously, but if the police turn up its 'your word against' theirs and it may look like the 'customer is trying to pull a fast one'0 -
Ive still not had a reply from them regarding it even though they are posting on their page on Facebook! Ive contacted consumer direct and trading standards and have followed their advice and sent letters to them and see if they reply.
At the end of the day my phones IMEI has only ever been registered to me and only ever had my 1 sim in it, the networks can prove this and can also trace who has owned the phone that they gave me back instead of mine.
Im quite happy to just follow the advice from today and wait for their reply.0 -
