Good morning everyone
Flying visit as am in middle of tidying house while waiting for National Grid to arrive. The whole downstairs looks like a bomb has hit, I want a minimalist house, DH wants a cluttered house!
Off I go again, so well wishes for sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Have a super dayLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

Lol, Camelot, do you get the impression I'm bossy? Or just desperate?

Today my dog is going for its first jab

Mr LW has just left for the surgery to have his flu jab, which he gets offered as he's my Carer, so I can sympathise.
Mary's had her last walkies before she gets picked up, at 14:00; she's snoozing in her bed now.:D I bet she'll be fully awake when it's time for her lunch!:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Hi everyone
Sneaking in again:eek: I do read but time seems fly by here. Just sat on the terrace, must admit very pleased I succumbed and treat myself to an I-Pad, I was really skeptical, but now I am hooked. Typing gone to shot though!!:D
DH decided he wanted a walk about with Skye, she is being thoroughly spoil out here, 3 neighbours have treats for her, 2 of which don't currently have dogs:eek:, two have given her toys to play with.
Trying do eat out of the cupboards and freezer as they are a bit full ATM. New shopping centre opened nearby, with a big Alcampo (Auchan in France), Primark & C&A, plus loads of other designer shops that don't excite me, one because of their prices, and two they don't do things which fit
Didn't do the Primark as not long since I have been in one in the UK, wasn't too pleased when I found some pants I had got (I like their seamless ones) the material had come out of the edging first time on, trouble is cannot take them back until December. Even C&A didn't appeal, cannot really appreciate thick winter jumpers and things when walking around in shorts & tops.
Anyway it has clouded over since I started this, and some rain cold be due over the next few hours or so, and quite a lot of cloud due with some wind for next week, maybe the tail end of Sandy???
DH has returned and made another coffee:A, so with all good wishes to those not up to par, for F&F not good either, including PITA OH's, I will say BFN, take care all DG
N.b. yes I am thoroughly spoilt, and love it:DMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Afternoon All
Had a productive trip to St Albans today and got DD three beautiful charms for her bracelet at a very reasonable price, so she will have one for Christmas, one for her birthday and one for next Christmas, don't laugh, we just don't know how badly we we will be affected by next year's cuts. I also got another present for DS, but need to look for some bits to put away for him as well.
We had some bad news today an old neighbour of DH's died, he is choked, he loved her as if she was a true Aunt. She taught DH to write his name when he was a child, was the Mum who was always out sledging on trays with the local children and got her floor polished by tying dusters to their feet and letting them slide up and down her hall, she was so full of fun. The funeral is on the 15th so we will both be going with MIL,FIL, BIL's and SIL's to pay our respects.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I've just received my Mr T vouchers & doubled them up, I'm giving them to DD for her kids as they need new school uniform & other clothes too.
It's still cold here but I'm going to do the ironing, that will soon warm me up.
Hugs Hester

Uolypool, I would suggest a house meeting, with your DS doing some prep with his other housemates beforehand to determine how much she is irritating the others. She's probably a big sister and has been bossing her family over the summer, and thinks she can carry on at uni. They all need to stand together and talk to her. They can also set house rules for all at the same time so she doesn't feel too persecuted0

I have actually bought one of next year's Christmas gifts too! I saw something that was too old for my GDD this year so have put it away for next year. Now all I have to do is remember next year .....
Am very sorry about your DH's neighbour. When I was a child, I was very close to a friend of my mum, much closer than with my real aunt's. I always called her and her husband aunty and uncle and spent so much time at their house which was always a crazy but very fun place to me. She died very suddenly after heart surgery when we all thought she was on the mend and it left my mum and me devastated. Some friends can never be replaced but they always live on in our hearts.LBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin
