Morning all, usually try not to be up this early at the weekend but we are going to an auction and some of the lots we want are the early ones.
Frosty but sunny here, the view from my french windows is out over a valley and it looks stunning.
recording the GP qualifying so will slob out in front of that after the auction.
Lunch will be something at a cafe, dinner sausage casserole and will bake some potatoes in the oven with it.
Hope you all have good days.

I'm off to Gloucester for the weekend shortly :D, meeting up with 3 of the girls I did Camp America with. It was 4 years ago I did camp so it's nice that we all still meet. We are only going for one night due to peoples jobs etc, but Gloucester is a mid-point between us all. We booked a travelodge for £20pp which is next to the shopping centre. Never been to Gloucester before so looking forward to exploring it.

Some of it is good, some of it is a dump :D From the travelodge, walk into town and keep going til you get to the cross. Turn left down Westgate Street and head towards the cathedral. You'll find the cutest little area on the right, College Court. The Beatrix Potter museum/shop is there, along with a fab booze shop :D Go in and ask for a taster of something, he'll happily open a bottle of something and join you in testing it :D Keep going and you get to the cathedral. My fave place for food is Cafe Rene, be careful what you order, the portions are MASSIVE :D

    Morning all:j:j

    Chilly and raining here,

Well there is not much going on here at the moment.
My wife has been doing extra hours at work to keep the bills paid.

On a plus side my mouth has all returned to normal. The pain has gone and I can now open mu mouth again and eat.

I have found that its gone quite cold over the last couple of week's,
In fact its gone that chilly It's like being a 10 year old again:rotfl:

Last night for dinner we had a lovely bit of smoked Cod. My wife picked it up from asda the other day. It was a woosp buy.
It was one of them pre packed asda extra special Jobs. And very nice it was too. We don't normally buy the supermarkets top line stuff as I have never found it to be much better than there normal or there cheep stuff. But this Cod I will admit was very nice. We have it with some Roast spuds, roast parsnip and roast carrots, My wife also did a white saurse to go with it

Well I hope that you all have a great day,

    Enjoy your Saturday everyone :j:j
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j

    Morning all,

Halight glad your feeling better we bought some Woodside extra special lemon mousse for pud last night they were absolutely delish down to 80p for two and came in real glass ramekins!
FB have a fab time in Gloucester
Tru it made me giggle when you mentioned Tetris. When we were first married 26 yrs ago my dh was absolutely obsessed with it and the little hand held console went everywhere with him. One night I had had enough and dropped it in the bath, when dh tried to dry it out it melted into a big solid lump of plastic on the radiator:rotfl: I was much more feisty then:o
Nlj1520 mmm sausage casserole, I shall make that this week
RR I've not been over impressed with Primani this year
Uolypool what a shame for your DS. Is there no chance he could find somewhere else to live, would it be worth someone having a chat with her, maybe she doesn't realise how seriously her behaviour is affecting others.
So up early for a Saturday. Will start my antibiotics this morning. Don't have much faith ey will do anything but will give them a go.
Mum and dad arriving at lunchtime. Will take mum clothes shopping as she doesn't get chance with dad who is very impatient. Because she can't walk far we need to pick somewhere where we can park close and stop for a sit down regularly (she refuses to let me push her in a wheelchair) but I don't think it's far off.
Dad will watch the football with dh and tonight we are having a Chinese takeaway, and have a movie to watch.
Really struggling to get anymore weight off but determined to get to goal, need to rethink what I'm eating I think.
Anywayenoughwaffle need to clean through before they arrive.
Have a good Saturday all x

    Morning All

Not had time to post but have read most days. Evening job is fairly quiet now (end of golf season) so not many shifts - to be quite honest it's hardly worth going out when it's cold, dark and wet for 1 or 2 rooms. This has meant I now have a social life! Been catching up with friends I haven't seen for a while, also been to the cinema twice this week, one of the films was Skyfall which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Need to do some housework and washing this weekend, just made a huge pan of lentil soup, DD is going to visit DS2 today (who is just back from china), so I will give her a container full for him.

Hugs to those in need, tru I sometimes have spells of cba and misery for no reason and it leaves as quick as it arrives! Have a good weekend FB.

I'm off to meet a friend for coffee this afternoon for a catch up but should really do some shopping first!

    Take care. XX

OH is going to put the new (but old) door handle on the lounge and a ball catch thing, so we can actually close the door.

Mornig rr, where did you get the handle with the ball catch thing if you dont mind me asking, I really want these as they just push open rather than having to pull handle down if they are what I am thinking they are .

    Morning.

The handle is a Bakerlite oine, which we got on Ebay, the rest of the doors in the house has them, so we managed to get one to match, its the ball catch thing that makes the door push open without turning the handle, we got ours in the local diy shop, they would do them anywhere though its this kind of thing you need xxx

Morning all, been up since 7.30, thought I'd get up before I got a headache. Pets walked and fed , now being very active on the sofa.
Need to do food shopping:eek: and cleaning of house. I am not enjoying this chilly weather I hate the cold!!!!!
Hugs to all in need, Halight glad your tooth is on the mend, FB have a nice weekend, Tru glad you are back to normal, I think a lot of people have times like that. Uolypool hope your DS can sort this person out , if she is the same with the rest of the housemates could they not all get together and talk to her. It would be a shame to let one person ruin his future.
Well have a good day all and stay warm:)

Gonna make cinnamon buns, some muffins for kids lunch boxes next week and generally hide out in the kitchen lest I end up murdering H.

    Hugs and spoons all round.

Flutterby enjoy your night out xxx

Today should have been the last day of hubby's holiday, only the phone rang at 7:30, one of his team isn't well, so could hubby cover, oh well, it's all money.
I'll record the GP qually for him & he can watch it when he gets home.
I'm hoping to pick up another lodger soon, so yesterday I bottomed out the kitchen & even changed the covers on the kitchen chairs, then I couldn't sleep last night as my hands were so painful.
Today's plans include lots of ironing, stripping our bed & making the spare room look nice.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester
