    Eurgh! tried to use the number Very.co.uk gave me to contact hotpoint 0844 822 2321 is duff! got told I don't have permission to contact that number it is just infuriating day 2 with no fridge freezer

    Nothing.

    Heard nothing so I called Very.co.uk again to be told that I have to wait till Wednesday to find out what has happened to my Item. This I normally would not mind too much but this is an essential appliance.

    When I raised the fact with the adviser she basically said that doesn't change anything.

    When I mentioned we entered a contract for the item to be delivered on the 2nd she said no because we do not guarentee the item will ever turn up.

    This is ridiculous what are my rights to receive this item considering I have a minor and that it is a essential which could without potentially harm my well being.

    We haven't received an email at the above email address yet. You may have emailed our customer services directly through our website. This is a different email address from the one given earlier and may take longer to respond to.

    Dear Chris

    I am very disappointed by the level of contempt I have received today from Very.co.uk when I again for the 5th time in 24 hours called in about my item now being told conflicting information about my Hotpoint Fridge Freezer which was due to arrive yesterday between 07:00 and 19:00 I am yet to be given a valid explaination to why very.co.uk feel it fit to not uphold their end of the contract entered. Which is leaving me my 2 year old son and pregnant wife with out a essential appliance for us to feed our family.

    We need this Item not want it and I am not being given any answers.

    I would appreciate an actual explanation to why very.co.uk find it suitable to not give me and answers at all!

    I need this Item ASAP and I would rather things be sorted in house than have to go through the ombudsmen and small claims court as you probably are equally feeling.

    Ah lovely nostalgia - this takes me back a month I can tell ya!

    In the end I just cancelled/returned everything from very and brought from other retailers (for a lot less!) I'd suggest you tell very not to bother and get something on a next day service from Amazon or similar.
