good idea mary thank you. Unfortunately I don't I know any local over 60s or any well enough to ask at least. Actually I need DH to come and help - we've decided the particular make/model of shower but it has to have the pipes the right side or something technical because of the limited space on the wall. Got to get it right this time as don't know if we will get away with a second return (unless its faulty of course).
will bear the 10% in mind though for friends who may have older family members.0 -

SQ, have you been in the place more than a year? If not ask if the nearest DIY store does a 'house warming' spiceal, it gave us 5% of on any diy/maintance stuff for the 1st year.
Love the idea of rent-a-gran.
And if it's any conserlation at least the concreat shed won't fall down in the wind's we've been having.£71.93/ £180.000 -
I'm metered but my consumption is dead on average for a household of our size and I pay £35 per month
I'm on a meter and pay about £80 every 6 months but I'm a singleton and out of the flat for several hours each day.
Softstuff.............yowwwww! You poor thing. I knew housework was dangerous but I have no idea that noodling was especially perilous. Although I cut into the side of my thumb whilst chopping a parsnip last night.
I have been leaving it uncovered but am about to go to the lottie and will tape it up for the duration as don't want to get soil in it and, although it's sealed, there's a bit which could catch on something and rip it open again.

hi toughies im back.... SOFTSTUFF glad to read your antics. I was wondering the other day who we hadn't heard from In a while.
The placard thing did read rather rude, when you think about it lol :-) made me smile lots.
Today we have another person who has failed to turn up, what is about un reliable staff..... why are they always in our shop too??
Someone managed to come in, so I was able to come home, if not I would have worked until 10pm and then back in to open at 745am. Not something I ever look forward too.
Summerhouse window has now fallen out, and glass all over the lawn, bought one of those cheap £2 bright blue tarpaulins, and will nail it over the empty space. Will recourse a new pane of glass after pay day. What else can go wrong??????

nutty sometimes things get that bad and so much stuff happens that you have to just sit down raise your head to the skies and laugh, proper laugh and let whatever you believe in know that you are not beaten and never will be0

Been doing a little gardening today and remembered when my dad used to spear the slugs with his garden fork whilst singing "Just in tine, I found you just in tine........"
Kept a smile on my face even though my back was painful!Normal people worry me.0
