I've been for my first week review at the doctors and found that the tablets can effect my driving  I didn't know this as last year I didn't have a car. Anyone experienced this who is on citalopram? I must say I haven't felt like they have effected me, a bit worried now though.

I have been referred for counseling. I was supposed to go last year but had to wait 12 weeks and in the end, chickened it. The issue with Mam is a whole other ball game now though and I think I need all the help I can get.

A bit scared at the noises the doctor was making towards the idea that I may need citalopram indefinitely

The girls know. I explained that my brain didn't receive the signals it was supposed to and the tablets helped fixed the connections. That doesn't make sense this time round though because I don't feel like the problem is me, more her. Hey ho. Feeling blergh but I'm quite alright.

Beef burgers in buns tonight :D Go on, I'll stick a slice of cheese on 'em too!

Fuddle, that's what I'm on, but not affected my driving (I think! :D), and have also been referred for counselling - I'm still part way through the day, so apologies if I'm repeating anyone.

Will text tomorrow, hun, take care of yourself.

Thanks to Sunday bus service I won't arrive until midday.

I may put off the planned trip to Darlington Park tomorrow seeing as I hope to attend the free Proms event there on July 6th. If I go early I can see the park in the afternoon and then the concert in the evening.

I'm sure the buses up there are a bit quicker than that !

Glad your day was not too bad, another hurdle over.

Hello and welcome bunbun (and any other newbies I've forgotten to say hello to). Glad the counselling and course helped your OH.

Good luck with the job hunting RPP and hope the awkwardness of references doesn't affect things for you.

sorry you have been poorly kidcat - make sure you squeeze in some downtime for YOU.

hope your headache has gone now Pooky. Sorry to hear about your drop in income but good you are preparing. You are at the right place, we will help in any way we can.

pops, you got through today as you have got through the year and we are very proud of you. I love hearing about all your plans to visit places, try new food etc... long may it continue.

sleep well Sheila and hope you feel a little more rested tomorrow. It will take a little while for the tiredness to ease. A little housework is fine but your health and wellbeing is far, far more important.

is your DS ok now kezlou after the incident with his phone being stolen?

GQ - you crease me up! Thanks. DH came in the other day with his sunglasses in his hand. He had put them on instead of his reading glasses and couldn't fathom out why wearing them made reading even harder :rotfl:

ps forgot to say I confided in one of the girls who has joined my parent support training recently from the other group.
She is on another course with me and we chatted on our tea break. She said out of the 5 of us, I am the only one her and another woman think they can be friends with as the other 4 are so loud, aggressive and self centered. I feel less isolated now and relieved I am not the only one struggling to bond with my old group.

Need my beauty sleep now me lovelies....

I love that Mrs Chip:D Funnily enough some new buses were unvailed today and some Government minister turned up to promote the investment but on the facebook there were many who were critical asking for a better service.

    Thanks SQ and GQ:o
Posting more on my blog and putting up videos and photos, recipes too. Having problems fathoming out how to get videos to it. It was easier with the previous camera. Not sure why...

I was on citroplam in the past, but it didn't work for me. Not i'm on fluoxetine. It didn't have any side effects for myself and when i asked the gp about driving she said its generally only a problem if you are on a very high dosage.

I go the mind centre (living life centre) in middlesbrough, so far its going well. To be honest i thought it wasn't going to help, could be an idea to go. Now they call it talking therapy where you chat one - on - one somewhere were you feel comfortable i.e coffee shiop, park etc
They also say if you don't feel up to chatting and you just want to feed the ducks it fine.
If you want me to come along with you for support then you know where i am :) I'll just sit quietly in the corner reading.

    well done mr fpk:T:T
pops glad your coping today :)

sq :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: your OH sun ds like me lol
Hmm thats a good point he hasn't been right since, i think something else is going on but hes not saying anything. THe school have been on the phone again about aspergers and autism assessments. Maybe now is the time i should start thinking about it.

Went to the hospital and all went well, apparently i am far too flexible. I had my legs thrown over my head, not a pretty sight with just my non-matching underwear on
The doctors were very good and said i have hypermobility which is why my joints hurt and so on.

I'm shattered so i'm off bed. I;ll write more about it tomorrow, it was really interesting what they were saying.

    night all x

KIDCAT sorry for the delay in posting it, we've been playing the quiz at the pub this evening, here is the Elderflower Champagne recipe for you

4 good sized heads of Elderflowers
1 and a half pounds of sugar
    8 pints of cold water
    the juice pf two lemons
the rest of the lemon cut into quarters

In a large bowl put the elderflowers and sugar add the water and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add the lemon juice and outsides, cover with a teatowel and leave for 24 hours. Sterilize some screw cap bottles and after the 24 hours strain the champagne through cheesecloth or a fine mesh sieve. Bottle in the screw cap bottles (I use wine bottles) then undo the cap by 1/4 turn. Put the filled bottles somewhere cool, I use the garden shed in case one of the bottles pops with the pressure, you won't want that in the kitchen!! and leave for between 5 and 10 days. There will not be signs of fermentation when you bottle the champagne that happens later in the bottle. If the first bottle doesn't fizz all is not lost, leave the rest a few more days before trying them. THEN HOPEFULLY, ENJOY!!!
    Cheers Lyn xxx.

I'm SO excited at the foraging season being on full swing. Made so much last year but still wish I'd made more.

I have saved a LOT of bottles in readiness ;)

    Cheers :) :j :T

That sounds great Jumblejack, you're basically doing the kind of things that are becoming popular at Farmers Markets etc...getting back to home produced foods and using skills many have lost.

Kezlou, that's quite a story. I so hope it works for you and as for the explanation they've given...I can't even cross my legs and getting down to tie shoe laces is a no no...I use slip on trainers or those with velcro strips. Rarely will you see me in shoes...hope you managed some rest after all of that x

Having a night of You Tube surfing and seeing old favourites of my childhood like Bewitched...some will remember it on here..."Of a certain age"
