Blimey! It will be the banks fault that people forgot to put their dustbins out for collection soon!

Wow thanks for the support guys! What a warm welcoming bunch you are.

Thank you for those of you who actually replied to my opening post. If you read it you will see that I was furious with DH for not checking and allowing himself to go overdrawn, I was just curious to know if this is a common issue because all my DDs (I only pay for council tax utilities etc via DD) go out on the same date each month (or following day if it's a weekend).

DH's card was originally an Egg card with a DD date of 1st of month. He obviously hadn't made himself aware that this had changed. His fault.

However, he's complained to Barclaycard, and they have agreed to pay his £16 overdraft fee, and have changed the date on his DD so it will always be after 1st of the month.

Thanks to the few of you who bothered to read my post and reply properly.

I'll take my questions elsewhere in future.

If you'd stuck to your opening post you would probably have been ok. Its your next couple of posts blaming Barclaycard and accusing them of being underhanded that solicited the replies you didn't like! Unfortunately if you post on an open forum then you have to expect some replies that you don't like.

OP had her head in the sand, shame really. Only wanted to reply to or acknowldge replies that followed her mindset.

It's a shame for people that can't see the wood from the trees.
