What is it with people on here I know we made a mistake and thats why I am asking for advice.
think before buying would be my 1st
Paypal have asked you to prove they are counterfeit.
As you have found out,few companies are interested in helping with people who purchased counterfeit goods.
So unless you can find someone who is,you will be writing the money off im afraid.
possibly a credit card claim might be your saviour
however the point stands that that site screams fakes0 -
snuggle69, how did you get on with the shop and a note saying it's counterfeit?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

"We strongly recommend that you use traceable shipping. If your goods lose on the road, you can trace the shipping company. For overseas orders this process sometimes can take up to 30 days.We will not be responsible for the lose if the returned package get lost during the shipment, original post office receipt must be kept to claim the compensation."
But then...My partner brought some designer jeans...might give you your answer. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
Dont think they're bothered about that in China.
Loads of websites selling fake stuff, they word their t & c's cleverly to let people know that what they're buying isn't genuine. They never claim to sell the genuine article.
Shame is, people never read them before buying.
Completely and utterly irrelevant. You cannot waive your rights to a criminal act.The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
Bearing in mind that "designer" jeans cost roughly the same to make as Tesco Bombers (and quite often come out of the same factories). Then it is only the higher price that makes them desireable. If you buy cheap you might as well have gone for the Tesco jobbies.0

Hi Pinkshoes many thanks for asking, the shop were brilliant and said that they had written similar letters before and did it for us there and then. We sent it across to paypal, who I then telephoned to ensure that they have received it and the guy was very helpful, he confirmed that it was received my partner then had to sign and return a letter confirming that he would destroy the items ( Which gave him great pleasure) and the money was refunded within 24 hours.0 -

Of course, that doesn't help our PayPal forum member ......... or does it?
For example,Plaintiff has charged Defendants with violations of United States federal and state laws prohibiting trademark infringement and counterfeiting. A copy of the Complaint and other legal documents may be obtained from Plaintiff’s attorney ....0 -

I had a bit of an argument about it with them and told them I would rather take them to the police as evidence of counterfeiting.
Just in case anyone does a search and comes across this thread.
Should you 'come across' (ie buy inadvertantly or find 'offered for sale') counterfeit items then Trading Standards would be the department to contact to deal with this.
Details of what is being offered for sale; who is selling, vehicle registration numbers etc will all help, if you can get this information.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
