I hold my hands up. I did indeed misread your original post, but that was because you put in a reference to her original 'locked or unlocked' SE phone, which seems to have no relevance to the question you were actually seeking the answer to.

LOL No worries!! The reference was that I had put a virgin sim into the T mobile phone my daughter has now. The sim worked. However i did not know if that was because the phone was unlocked, or just because virgin sims worked in t mobile phones.
The phone I am watching IS locked

Therefore, I was asking, do the virgin sims work in t mobile phones (regardless of whether they are unlocked or not)
