Morning all
BB I hope you are on the up & up, I'm having a blond moment here ( I refuse to admit to a senior moment) I read your post, saw Dniece & thought 'Why do people not learn to spell correctly it should be spelt Dennis' then realised that the baby's called Tyler, not Dniece. Lol, I'm an idiot!
Hugs to Molly, Miffy, Hilstep, LW & PP.
My oldest was in an incubator for 4 weeks, scary time.
Blue sky here ATM, gardening again today as we have to wait in for hubby's new phone.
Right, time I fed the fish, they are queueing up against the glass, waiting for me.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

Hi all,
BB - welcome to Tyler x my DS1 was in SCBU as he as 4 weeks early - but at 9lb, I felt like a fraud, as he was so massive in comparison to some of the tiny tots, they needed to check his lung function for 24 hrs, - he,s now 18, 6ft 4 with size 14 feet - i,m 5ft 2, size 4 feet and I had him in 20 minutes flat LOL:eek:
Hilstep - thats why we have 999, you shouldn,t feel bad about calling them - I remember on TV, them saying about a chap who called 999 because he missed the last bus... Anyhooooo. Get to the doctors x
Miffy - as I said yesterday, I stopped my DS 2 from trick or treating for this very reason - its worries people when they open their doors to what appears to be a "gang". Glad you stood your ground xx:T
Off into town today with DS1 to look for a fancy dress costume for party on Sat, will stick to CS, as I think that "lurche" will be an easy dress up idea.
Its tipping with rain and blowing a gale, so might have another coffee before we head out.
HM burger and chips for dinner.
Sorry to those I missed, and hugs all round xxNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Good Morning All
Been MIA for a while - trying to limit my computer time & get on with things - not really working though
Halloween was nice last night, had a few callers mainly very little children with their parents - costumes were great.
Getting though half term, not doing too much and the kids seem happy about having a chilling week. Did take them out for lunch yesterday.
OH is at home today as he is working tonight and we are errand running in a little bit - (will help when I get dressed ). We will probably treat ourselves to lunch out so will do macaroni cheese for the kids tonight.
Not much housework is getting done at the moment, not too much point to it when DS is at home!
Hillstep - ok everything is ok at the docs.
(((hugs))) wherever needed, have a great day all.x0 -
Good morning everyone

The sun appears to be shining but it's raining at the same time, hmm I think the bits of remaining washing can stay in the basket until it decides what to do.
Nervous this morning as we are waiting for the builder to arrive and the verdict on the roof
OH bought a large reduced piece of beef last night so that's marinading for slow cooking and should do a few days meals. He also got a red cabbage so that can go in the oven at the same time with some apple, onions and juniper berries.
Have some ebay listing lined up to do and need to get in a trip to Oxfam, the landing is overflowing with books and jigsaws from the loft.
Well wishes to all sick people and pets and hugs to those who need or just want them. Have a super day

Good Morning everyone and welcome to the new baby .DD rang me last night from NYC and said they have managed to get on a flight out to come home on Sunday (they should have flown home tonight.)Their hotel has been really good and allowed them to stay in their room for the extra days (not free though
) but at least they have a roof over their heads.DD celebrated by going to Macy's and spending a chunk of cash on so new underware.Thats my girl, retail therapy works so well for her:).She has to have a hysterectomy just before or after Christmas depending on the bed situation so its her treat to herself as she will be laid up for awhile. Her OH is very good and is always trying to get her to treat herself so he won't mind.I'm glad that they are safe and look forward to seeing her when she gets back.
DGD Holly is realising just how much her Mum does for her and is really missing her bless her. I just hope it will mean the kids won't take her so much for granted when they get home DD is always running around after them and they are 21 &19 so are really old enough to look after themselves.DGS Danny phoned me up for a tutorial on how to work the washing machine I think he was hoping I'd say oh don't bother drop it off and I'll do it '
No way, its time he learned what Mums do and it won't hurt him. Holly is fine as she is quite capable of looking after herself, but Dan is a bit of a 'its Mums job' lad, has he had a shock this week.especially when his sister told him to go shopping as he had scoffed all the fresh fruit and they needed bread ,milk etc.He thinks it just appears out of the sky into the fridge. Its done him good this week to stand on his own two feet for a change I wouldn't see them go hungry, but he is more than capable of going to the supermarket and getting food .Not too sure what we're doing today it all depends on the weather Tomorrow I am taking the three youngest boys to see Madagascar at the cinema and DD and her OH and the eldest are seeing Skyfall at the same time .Bond is a bit too grown up for the little ones I think. They had a great haul of goodies from their trick or treating and we had a really nice night with lots of fun when other little ones came to the door as DD had dressed up as well.I don't know who enjoys it more the kids or my 43 year old daughter
:)She carved a great pumpkin and we had it on top of the spare hamsters cage in the front garden so the other children could see that we were a trick or treaters friendly house .Dd went with them when they went out and they only knocked on doors that had spooky decorations in the window.DD doesn't want to frighten any of the older neighbours.Right I'm off for a bit of breakfast and a shower.Have a great day everyone what ever you are doing
Cheers chums

Morning all
Hugs hilstep x
Sneaky post from me. I should be in the office now, but need to pick my work kids up in 20mins and was feeling a bit wobbly first thing, so figured there was no point driving up 10mins to new office, to drive back down 15mins to where I pick them up. Glad I did that as feel ok now, and managed to get some housework done too!
Have 3 work kids in for half day today, then I'm meeting ex-colleague for lunch and catch up, then doing some work placement visits this afternoon. Tonight I'm seeing my friend, hoping to go to cinema.
OS wise - dishes washed, hoovered throughout, portioned and frozen LO cheese pie, bedding changed. Will put WM on when I get home, won't dry in the day indoors as no heat.
Have a good day all

DS1 appeared in the early hours after his DJing shift and is stopping over - hope I get to see him brifly at lunchtime.
Raiding the freezer for DHs dinner, mine is HM veg curry defrosted ready to take to work as its liver casserole on the menu there_pale_:D the residents love it though and its good for them.

Morning all
Not sure what I've missed on the daily, but hugs and kisses all round whatever your news!
Took DS (5) out last night with some friends and their children - not really my cup of tea, but he wanted to be with his friends. Got too many sweeties left as DH did too good a job of rationing them! :rotfl:
Sunny here this morning, so hoping to get washing out soon, and loads of ironing to do tonight.
Glad those with friends/relative in US have had good news! :j
Taplady - liver casserole! _pale_ Not my favourite either!
Have a good day all, will try to keep up!

:rotfl: if you're an idiot then so am I because I read it as Denice first few times lol
Back to reality today
Bath was fab-u-lous :j I love Georgian architecture so quite frankly I spent most of my time swooning at the gorgeous houses and streets
was a complete tourist and dragged the kids on the bus tour ride. DS declared it wasn't very good because there was too much talking :rotfl: also took them to the science museum at Bristol so we had a lovely time and met H for lunch twice. He enjoyed us being there
OS? Not sure as I need to hold off shopping until sat as I don't fancy dragging the kids with me. Aldi if only you did a delivery service
My lovely parents have continued decorating in our absence so progress being made.
Right BM beckons as does the WM
Belated Saimhain wishes LW and I think Molly (apologies if you're not and I've got you confused with someone else
:o)
No idea what's for tea, cottage pie I think,
Hugs and spoons all round.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Morning All
We only had three littlies and their parents last night, so it wasn't too bad and we knew all of them.
Computer is playing up so I am going to take it apart. give it a good check over and see if there is a problem inside, I have already done all of the virus, rootkit and other checks plus defragging so it must be either the fan or the mother board:(
Hilly get to the GP STAT!
((((Hugs)))) to all who need one
