I already have that addicition... and many others unfortunately. Got a lot of weight to lose and a bank account that is rather less healthy than it should be / mortgage higher than it should be due to excessive spending. Oh and rather more clutter in the house than I should have, despite having given quite a bit to charity. (Don't get me wrong, I'm not like one of those horders who keep rubbish.... just got more of quite a few different kinds things than I need)
The only thing I can say is I've never smoked, certainly not taken illegal drugs, and don't drink that much. Oh, and I might fritter my money, but I don't gamble. So I guess I can exercise SOME self control.
Today UU
- a sunny bubble bar from Lush. WNBA, makes a mess of the bath and thinking about it, for the amount it costs per bath I could buy some far more luxurious bath oils which I would enjoy using more.
- Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin perfume, 30ml. WBA but not till I have used up some of my other citrus scents. It is lovely though, very zesty without being too sweet.
- Origins A Perfect World moisturiser 30ml. WNBA. Used up on my body as was rather old and I wasn't sure about using on my face after all that time. Have to say my arms feel very soft now!0 -

I think it's the sign of an overworked type-A personality. I know exactly what you mean; I hardly drink, never taken drugs, don't gamble and yet still feel guilt for not being as good as I should be.
I have however stopped taking the codeine painkillers I was taking for tooth-awaiting-root-canal as I was enjoying the feeling a little too much0 -
The list is still growing
current total @ 180:eek:
Have actually UU a couple of things today- just had a lovely Radiance Face Mask - honestly, I have all this stuff and rarely actually treat / pamper myself with it!
Really must try harder & no excuses as it's sitting there to be used!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!0 -
Hugs to all xxx
Has anyone here had any problem with the whole Comet administration?
I just found out about it today, and it was a shock as I have a £250 voucher! They are not accepting vouchers as of this weekend, and I'm not sure if they will again
A few UU:
1.Guerlain La Petite Robe Noir 1ml sample - I really liked this, will check it out at a counter and maybe purchase once I finish a couple that only have a few mls in them.
2. Yardley English Rose Shower Gel 200ml - nice, very fragrant, but WPNBA in this scent - I've realised through this challenge that I don't like having stashes of one type of shower gel and like trying new ones so I probably won't repurchase anything I've already tried from now on!
3. Femfresh Deodarant 125ml - WNBA, received two free and have one left to use. Would not buy again as it doesn't really do anything for me!
& No INs!0 -
Hello!
Its good to be back to such a lovely friendly thread
I'm making a massive effort to UU everything that's still hanging on before I move.
So far November UU:
The body shop coconut shower cream 250ml
Simple face wipes (25)
Greek olive oil soap with orange
John frieda sheer blonde moisturising shampoo 50ml
Cindy Crawford waterfalls deodorant spray 150ml
2 INs from Glamour:
The sparkly nail polish and a sachet of Rimmel BB cream.
(Was hoping for the sachet of the new Nivea primer that was supposed to be in the mag-as mentioned by someone, but alas none in my copy- ohh well)
My sachet collection is growing again, must start trying all of these little foundation sachets to see if I can discover a new foundation when my current Benefit one runs out. (Will not be buying again).
Have a good weekend all.0 -

And there's that magic word "should" - always a sign we're beating ourselves up when that word comes out to play.
I get what you mean though. I feel ashamed of my spending but the only debt I have is my mortgage, the credit card gets paid off each month, I do have a pension although I should put more into it, and I do have some rainy day savings too. There's room for improvement, but I'd hardly make an interesting reality TV show on what happens when spending goes out of control.0 -
Forgot to add some OUTs as part of my mum's birthday:
Clinique high lengths mascara (black) 4g
Clinique superbalm moisturising gloss (grapefruit) 7ml
No7 protect and perfect day cream 15ml
No7 protect and perfect night cream 15ml0 -
Welcome back Carolyn12!0

First in of the month for me and its a necessary one - Dove beauty cream bar - on the last slivers on my olive oil soap I brought back from Crete and other than a body wash that OH got for his birthday there's no shower gel or soap whatsoever. No doubt I'll have some shower gel IN at Christmas, gifts from either other people or myself! So in the meantime I thought I'd just buy soap. We're off to Liverpool tomorrow to watch Kevin Bridges and we're staying over in a Travelodge, they don't give you any toiletries (in fairness it was a very cheap deal) so I'll take this with us, along with a few other bits and pieces I'll decant into some of the travel bottles I got for hols (once upon a time I'd have gone out and bought a set of minis especially so I'm definitely improving!). I pondered over the Glamour nail polishes but I only ever use it on my toes and have plenty so didn't bother in the end.0

when its on, it looks red but its certainly not a pillar box red and it does retain its pinkish tinge
I have St James (not from the mag) and it is a pillar box red. When I looked at it in the mag it was a pink colour. I agree that they have scrimped on the colouring. No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380
