Cien Lime Kick Shower Gel, 300ml - a cheapie from L!dl that I might buy again if I'm feeling skint!
And another hotel freebie gone.
Had a NPI. Almost bought some Skullicious OPI mini nail polishes but resisted! And then saw more OPI polishes on Q but resisted those too! Maybe when I reach 25 outs I will treat myself...Decluttering 2015: 2162/20150 -
Hi All,
Found myself logged out this morning after OH has been on my laptop, think he's been Christmas shopping as he was muttering about spending money, hope much he hates Christmas (little ray of sunshine that he is) and the history had been wipedExciting!! He also asked me (as he always does) whether Parfum or EDT is better, you think he'd just check the prices :rotfl:
Talking of perfume, had an unwanted UU today, its been spluttering for a little while so knew it was on its way - Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, I know its not everyone's cup of tea as its very sweet but I love this, second only to Coco Mademoiselle (which hopefully Father Christmas will bring me!) WBA (although it was a pressie)
Going to dye my hair tonight, its needed doing for about a week really but I find it such a chore! Back to L'Oreal Preference in Caracus, tried the new Garnier Olia last time thinking it'd be better on my hair as ammonia free etc but my hair has been absolutely awful since, really unruly and it didn't cover grey very well either - wouldn't use that again. Hopefully it'll settle down now. I think the weather, central heating etc isn't helping either but a trim will also help as I'm growing it, at least its long enough to put up now if all else fails. Tempting to cut it but that's what I always end up doing at this stage so I'm determined to persevere this time!
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend x0 -
One inadvertant UU - a mini Petit Cherie shower gel by L'Occitane, the bottle had leaked and all the contents ran out over the window sill it was sat on.
I still have another travel size bottle in my wash bag so don't need another yet, but eventually WBA as I love the neroli scent, goes with a perfume I got from the Cotswold Perfumery a couple of years ago which I adore, really cheers me up wearing it.
Two INs - got a couple of the new clinque intense chubby sticks. Did mean to buy with points but there was triple points on so thought I'd collect them and save the points for another time - got about £44 worth. I really shouldn't have bought these, so didn't need them.0 -

Every single time I walk in to Boots or John Lewis I have to force myself to walk past these without buying. I'm in a similar position, I have something approaching £50 on advantage card points but I keep saving them until I really need them. What life threatening emergency could require the use of advantage card points I've yet to work out :eek:0 -
One tiny tiny UU of a perfume sample. It feels like ages since i've used something up. I'm close to the end of a few things though0

I don't blame you kiplingmonkey. I thought the plum mascara would become limited edition as it was in the flash sale about a week ago. I am hoping MrM got me one as he won't let me open the Benefit parcel to "check" the items he got for Emma lol x
Well done on again not buying the TSV. Will you be avoiding the Laura Geller one too? We are in York that day so I'm going to go to great pains not to watch any of it. x
Thanks for letting me off the plum mascara! Not sure about the LG - haven't been getting on too well with the B&B - even the fair now seems to make me go a bit orange. I have got a porcelain one so might give that a try in advance of the TSV to see how it goes. I do like the application as it is quick and easy so fab for the weekend - just the colour is sometimes not quite right for me. I have had some great 'fair' pans but I suppose it depends on the colour mix. I resisted the last LG TSV so if this looks good and the price is reasonable I might treat myself for Christmas.
BTW - latest S&G to emerge from the stash is Mist you madly and not girligo as previous stated - is that the one everyone has been complaining about making their floor slippy?
Also, all you Lush fans - I want to get my DDs (11 & 7) a Lush set each for Christmas - what do you think the best sets are this year? I was hoping they might do something like the tin gingerbread house they did last year but can't see anything like it in my local branch. Thanks for any tips you can give..0 -

I am working my way through the full size of the LE Sheer Skin Tint and agree with you about it's stickiness. Am even trying to apply it with a foundation brush but it feels so cakey and horrible. Real LHJ. Can't wait to finish it to move onto the Maybelline BB cream I have which is a dream to apply although I do top it off with my LG BnB cos it doesn't have the full coverage I like.
i third this! it was really disappointing stuff tbh, its not a patch on the Laura Mercier one! its just far too thick to use.
Ive been doing quite well on the UU front!
UU:
Liz earle body scrub mini - WBA but tbh i think i might have a bash at making my own, it cant be that difficult!
Loccitaine shower gel mini x 2- WNBA, didnt like the smell very much
origins plantscription mini - WNBA, too expensive and i didnt notice a difference!
aveda rosemary mint shampoo and rosemary mint conditioner minis- WBA, i love the minty smell, very refreshing!
Balance Me shower gel - WNBA not keen on the texture.
TA:
figs and rouge lip balm - found another that had gone nasty!
jemma kidd black eyeliner - mag freebie. had dried up. awful quality!
bare minerals eyeliner - has dried up, broke far too readily and the cap broke. not at all the kind of quality id expect from bare minerals!
GA:
algenist moisturiser deluxe sample - my skins gone mental atm so thick, heavy and potent anti ageing creams are prob the last thing it needs!
Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser - not my colour at all!
and after being good all month and being nearly at another whole no buy month, ive just signed up to test for beauty bible againhoping it comes after the 5th as thats my cut off for a month of no beauty purchases! was one of those where if i didn't take the chance i might not get the chance to again so i went for it.

I have £96 of points on my Advantage Card...
Have had a lovely relaxing day today. Used a face mask and hair mask and exfoliated and moisturised every inch of my body! Painted my nails this evening with Nails Inc 'The Serpentine' because I wear a lot of navy to work and fancied being a bit matchy this week. Have painted accent nails with the new Rimmel Precious Stones grey polish, not that impressed with it to be honest! Might feel a bit different when I do an entire mani with it!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170
