    2 outs:

Lush solid shampoo- I cannae remember the name but it had grass in it. WNBA because the grass was off putting- I do LOVE the concept of solid shampoo though!

TBS Moringa body oil- WMBA- it was expensive for what it was. On to the satsuma version now.

Went to Superdrug to buy toothpaste today and left with nothing but a single tube of toothpaste, success!

Now if you'd gone to Mr B you could have 2 x Aquafresh as they are B1G1F at £1.05 and if you got a 10% off toothpaste at the ACM you would get them for 94pp :T this is what I've done several times (and it's also how I ended up joining this toiletries thread ...:o) :rotfl:

Haha, thankfully toothpaste is something I've never stashed- too boring. :p

I'm cautious of Aquafresh as I had a tube once that tasted disgusting (like cough medicine) but can't remember which one it was to avoid it in future. :o I got half price Colgate instead.

that's it!!! Im joining for next month after just having received my Avon order and adding yet more to my already massive stash. I really do not know how much I have to use up (thinking hundreds!!!) but will have a count up over the weekend as I am decorating / decluttering / sorting anyway!

Welcome theshinyone. Good luck with the challenge.

No INs or UUs to report. I am going to B**ts tomorrow to buy my toothpaste that is on offer. My stash has been completely used up and the one I am using is over half way done, so will not be counting it as an unnecessary in.

No, this how I strated accumulating toiletries, offers and ACM points it all adds up. :D I have bought toothpaste with this offer but not counting them as Ins, however apart from toothpaste I don't remember buying anything since July when I got 2 x BS bargain bags :T

Maddiemay - wow that is a lot of handcream, I too have plenty but my real problem area is shower gel.

    A uu to report:

BS Hemp hand protector - WBA, as this is quite a LHJ I ended up using it as foot cream as well. I think it does a good job of moisturising but I did reserve it for night time use as it is thick. Have replaced it with a gwp size of Clinique hand and cuticle cream.

This is how I get through a lot of hand cream - by using it as foot cream on MrM's feet when watching tv at night. The skin on my hands is suffering a bit at the mo. It's really dry and has been quite itchy lately as well with my cuticles becoming very hard and sore. Am going to put the LE Superbalm in my handbag to use on the go as I think they need more TLC than usual.
Have a UU to declare -

OPI Nail Envy Original - Had this for aaaggggeeessss and it is the first nail thing I have ever used up! Usually I misplace top coat or base coats or they go funny where I haven't used them for ages and no amount of Seche restore will bring them back to life!

And a whole bunch of nail varnish that I don't need...

    - Nail Tek 2 Foundation; a replacement for the nail envy. I've used this before and it works well for keeping my nails from peeling!

    - China Glaze Winter Holly
    - China Glaze Pure Joy
    - Color Club Snowflakes
    - China Glaze Short and Sassy
    - China Glaze Midnight Ride
    - China Glaze Lubu Heels
    - Color Club Take the Stage

That's a lot of glitter...can you see a theme emerging here? Have been wearing Essie Chinchilly with Max Factor Silver as an accent nail all week and it still looks really good. One of my fave combinations recently. Also Chinchilly was my first Essie polish and I am really impressed, it was really easy to apply and the finish is really good. Might have to try a few more Essie's out after Christmas.

Anyone have any plans for the weekend? I think I'm going to make the first batch of Mince Pies this year and see what happens.

I used to never get to the bottom of a bottle of Nail Envy until I bought some nail lacquer thinner. It always goes thick and gloopy towards the end of the bottle.

Lovely haul of nail colours there. I've seen this range in Sallys and they all look very pretty. Am gonna dig out my bottle of CG Ruby Pumps later and apply it over the top of Sample Sale to give it some sparkle. I think that's the only bottle of CG that I own. I only own 2 Essies as well I think - Angora Cardi which is a real fave love it and Lovie Dovie which is ok but the formula is very streaky.
Morning everyone - I am coming onto the thread to stay strong as the L'Occ is calling me on the Q. Need to be good and I know you will all encourage me not to step off the ledge and cave in to buying it. Yhe vanilla flower handcream sounds so divine....and it comes with a bag which is always a weak point for me as I love bags....but I must be good..*sigh*

On the plus side I have another UU to report:

S&G Girligo body spray - WNBA - gave up with a few dregs left in the bottom but to be honest, couldn't really notice it doing anything for me...

I got an email yesterday morning from the Q about the L'occitane TSV and felt bored by it straight away. It's a lovely kit if you use those products or maybe are new to L'Occitane but it's the same old same old really. Saw a little bit of the presentation last night and again felt very underwhelmed by it. I do though prefer Philosophy and the only things I use from the L'Occitane range now are the liquid soap (which I'm really missing at the mo as we've run out completely) and the Lavender hand cream although at the moment I'm using the freebie mango one which is lovely too. Did you resist in the end. I wish I had logged on yesterday to spur you on. Keep thinking about the Ipad fund.

We too have a bottle of Girligo sitting on the bathroom counter top which I spray on occasionally. I think it gets dusted more than used.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Liz Earle sheer skin tint 2ml x 2. These are in the darker shades and the lighter shade I tried was horrible, so sticky!

Benefit It stick: freebie from Glamour a few years ago, really dry and cakey.

Barbara Daly mascara: dried up, this was a freebie. Didn't really do much.

No7 Exceptional Definition mascara sample: dried up. Didn't like this, I've yet to find a No7 mascara I like.

I am working my way through the full size of the LE Sheer Skin Tint and agree with you about it's stickiness. Am even trying to apply it with a foundation brush but it feels so cakey and horrible. Real LHJ. Can't wait to finish it to move onto the Maybelline BB cream I have which is a dream to apply although I do top it off with my LG BnB cos it doesn't have the full coverage I like.

I loved the Benefit It Stick and wish I had stockpiled more at the time. The Tesco one is a good substitute though. I am using this at the moment although my HG is Benefit Erase Paste. Will treat myself to some when the Tesco one has gone.

What are you looking for in a mascara? Still by far the best that I've used is the Clinique Lash Power one and there is an Avon one that is similar (can't remember it's name but it begins with an "M").
    Quick UU to report!

Rituals Crystal Mint deodorant 200ml - WNBA, used to love it but I need a new everyday deodorant. Any suggestions? x

I don't have a HG deodorant as I tend to buy what's on offer. I always buy roll ons. I wouldn't recommend the one I'm using at the moment which is Asda's own. It's too wet. Other ladies on here have recommended Mitchum and I've got both MrM and Emma using this now.

I've never stashed toothpaste. In fact I've never stashed anything that's deemed "necessary" ie toothpaste, deodorant or sanitary products. That's the reason I've needed this challenge. x

  • morning ladies,

I'm starting today with some guilty confessions, I went to Boots to buy hair mousse as someone on here kindly pointed out that the brand I use is on offer at 2 for £7.50 so INS :
uberto giannin sex bomb hair mousse x2.

While I was queing to pay I spotted a 'This Works' mini set on the clearance shelf, (tis a very clever ploy to put the clearance items beside the tills!!!!) so also in :

this works perfect legs skin miracle 50ml
this works daily boost body scrub 50ml
this works rich firming lotion 50ml

I paid for the mini set with points so don't feel too guilty but I had no need for any of them :o !!!!
  • I managed to resist the L'occitane tsv yesterday :T, I would have liked to try the almond shower gel but I have loads of others to work my way through before I buy anything. Also thought it was a bit pricy.

    I have a few uu's and in's to report

    UU's
Tresemme heat protector spray - wmba, it was an ok substitute for my hg product.
Dove conditioner - wmba, this was a magazine freebie and it was an ok conditioner.

    In's
Frizz ease 3 day straight - got this on a 3 for £10 offer

I keep wanting to try to use cream on the bf's feet. I had no idea the answer to my always dry, uncomfortable and embarrassing feet would have been to actually use the foot creams I had accidentally stockpiled. It's made a huge difference to my feet. Except that OH calls them 'slimey feet'. Ho hum, guess I'll just be using my products on me then :rotfl:

One small UU this morning: Body shop pink grapefruit shower gel mini. WMBA, I adore pink grapefruit smell but the shower gel smells lovely in the bottle, and of nothing on me. Oh well.

One small cry of delight from me as well; the Avene rich skin recovery cream I bought yesterday. Was very concerned it wouldn't do anything for my eczema - it's resolved it in less than 12 hours. I know my eczema is limited and occasional but it's always aggravating when it happens. The tick patches have disappeared and I am now using this cream as a normal face cream as I love the texture.
