  • One In: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation 10ml, free when requested from the website a few weeks ago. Will be interesting to see if it's any good as usually cheaper foundations are too dark for me. Still not paid for any INs except my usual contact lens solution, 6 weeks in to the challenge!

No paid IN for six weeks is brilliant, well done!! :T

Bit confused, had an email from REN this morning about a free Otto Rose Body Wash with orders over £30 'today' only but when I've looked at the details properly it was for yesterday?! Would love to try that too (but don't NEED it and shouldn't be spending £30 so I guess I've been saved from myself!) :rotfl:

Better than yesterday thanks, but still lurking in bed as it is warm and comfortable (and TMI alert - next door to bathroom).

Hope you're feeling better now maddiemay.
What fab taste you have! These are my fave Nails Inc shades :D

I own both these colours as well. Victoria is my favourite out of the two though. Have just repainted my finger nails and am wearing Sephora by OPI Sample Sale. Lovely festive shimmery red. Am trying to download the Michael Buble Christmas CD to my phone at the mo as well but it doesn't seem to be playing ball. Feeling festive too soon I think.

UU: Philosophy Purity Made Simple cleanser 90ml. WNBA, far too drying! I'm glad I only bought the mini size and it was with Advantage points.

I found this cleanser really drying as well. It was a real shame as at the time I was suffering from milia (havent' had any for a while now) and this got rid of it at the time but stripped my skin as well.

went for a facial at a local salon and treated myself to the opi bondettes set of four mini nail polishes, used "Goldeneye" last night as going to a ball tonight and am blown away by it.....looks like I have gold leaf on my nails, sooooo pretty and only £12.95 the set:)not sure about the black one tho but can pop that in as a stocking filler for a friend. The therapist had shellac nails done on her toes...red sparkles and am having that done to my hands before we go away for my birthday weekend in two weeks:)...all booked now and am looking forward to it despite no change in marital circumstances tho as least now I am styaing calm and just getting on with life!

I own Live and Let Die that you have in that kit. It's a gorgeous colour. We have bought the other Bond kit for Emma for Christmas.

Have 2 more UUs to declare:-

V05 Give Me Moisture shampoo. Have a replacement bottle already.

Elemis 15ml pro collagen serum. WNBA. One pump wasn't enough and two pumps made my face sticky. Not great. x

Maddiemay - wow that is a lot of handcream, I too have plenty but my real problem area is shower gel.

    A uu to report:

BS Hemp hand protector - WBA, as this is quite a LHJ I ended up using it as foot cream as well. I think it does a good job of moisturising but I did reserve it for night time use as it is thick. Have replaced it with a gwp size of Clinique hand and cuticle cream.

Am currently sitting with my PK Elasticizer on in a desparate attempt to sort my hair out as during the week I burnt the top of it with my hairdryer. I had accidently turned the heat up full and I could smell burning and thought it was the dryer but it was actually my hair. Am having it cut next week so hopefully the hairdresser can cut must of the frazzled bits out.

  • I'm still waiting for my Fit Me sample to arrive!

Have a UU to declare -

OPI Nail Envy Original - Had this for aaaggggeeessss and it is the first nail thing I have ever used up! Usually I misplace top coat or base coats or they go funny where I haven't used them for ages and no amount of Seche restore will bring them back to life!

    Have a few IN's to declare;

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair 50ml - Treated myself to this because since I finished my sample, I have noticed my skin isn't as smooth and looks a bit rubbish to be honest!

Mac Cleanse off Oil - Have almost finished the travel sized one I got before going to Budapest so a full size one was in order.

And a whole bunch of nail varnish that I don't need...

    - Nail Tek 2 Foundation; a replacement for the nail envy. I've used this before and it works well for keeping my nails from peeling!

    - China Glaze Winter Holly
    - China Glaze Pure Joy
    - Color Club Snowflakes
    - China Glaze Short and Sassy
    - China Glaze Midnight Ride
    - China Glaze Lubu Heels
    - Color Club Take the Stage

That's a lot of glitter...can you see a theme emerging here? Have been wearing Essie Chinchilly with Max Factor Silver as an accent nail all week and it still looks really good. One of my fave combinations recently. Also Chinchilly was my first Essie polish and I am really impressed, it was really easy to apply and the finish is really good. Might have to try a few more Essie's out after Christmas.

Anyone have any plans for the weekend? I think I'm going to make the first batch of Mince Pies this year and see what happens.

  • Morning everyone - I am coming onto the thread to stay strong as the L'Occ is calling me on the Q. Need to be good and I know you will all encourage me not to step off the ledge and cave in to buying it. Yhe vanilla flower handcream sounds so divine....and it comes with a bag which is always a weak point for me as I love bags....but I must be good..*sigh*

On the plus side I have another UU to report:

S&G Girligo body spray - WNBA - gave up with a few dregs left in the bottom but to be honest, couldn't really notice it doing anything for me...
  • that's it!!! Im joining for next month after just having received my Avon order and adding yet more to my already massive stash. I really do not know how much I have to use up (thinking hundreds!!!) but will have a count up over the weekend as I am decorating / decluttering / sorting anyway!
