The tick patches have disappeared and I am now using this cream as a normal face cream as I love the texture.
I love Avene products, I can't rave about them enough! The Cleanance range is perfect for my skin. Glad the Rich Skin Recovery cream is working for you.
Sunday is pamper day here so I am about to go and put a face mask on, put a hair mask on and will repaint my nails later. No idea what colour to go for this week, maybe a navy blue with some gold glitter in there somewhere.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Kiplingmonkey - hope you stayed strong, I too was tempted, but in the process of looking out a load of GA's and TA's, so must NOT buy more:rotfl:
Yes I did - I feel so proud of myself. Have added £5 to my SPC this morning to celebrate - it was hard resisting as I would have loved to try the vanilla handcream but I feel really good this morning. We too have a bottle of Girligo sitting on the bathroom counter top which I spray on occasionally. I think it gets dusted more than used.
I just decided to 'go for it' to get rid of it (and to avoid the dusting) - my S&G haul is gradually whittling away. However, discovered I have another body mist lurking in there - Flirtigo or something similar. I have got it out and want to UU asap to get shot of it. Will give it a go in the morning.
Like you I don't stash the necessities which is why I too am now subscribing to this thread....
I also have an IN to declare which is not great I know but I am pleading limited availability as my reason for purchasing. Hopefully you will all cut me some slack for being so virtuous yesterday:
Benefit BadGal plum mascara - as this is going to be discontinued I am afraid I have bought some as I love plum mascara and it is often limited edition only. It was reduced by 20% so a sort of bargain. I did however manage to go in to the Benefit store and only buy that despite the SAs best efforts to try to get me to buy more...0 -

Is this hideously expensive? I get eczema on my face (and rosacea and adult acne ). The acne seems to be in pole position at the moment so I am using Sudocrem (only when I am in the house though as I don't want to go out with big white patches on my face!) Always on the lookout for something that will help with eczema breakouts though.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Th cream was £12.50 for 40ml but you really don't need to use much. I've previously bought a tube of 8 hour cream to treat the eczema patches I get, so I guess for me it's cheap! It's a rich cream but sinks in quickly and cleared a thick scaled patch very quickly0 -
No INs or UUs to report. I am going to B**ts tomorrow to buy my toothpaste that is on offer. My stash has been completely used up and the one I am using is over half way done, so will not be counting it as an unnecessary in.
I di not buy my toothpaste today. It wasn't on offer, as I had been informed and the whitening one I use is now £11 a tube !
The other one - sensitive- is still around £7.50. No idea why there is such a massive price jump. Not sure what I am going to do now as it took me ages to find a toothpaste I really like.
VALM - I know what you mean about being bored with the same sets on Q. I have been feeling the same way for a while now.
For deo - I really like the Sure Crystal roll on which you can usually get on offer for £1 and Right Guard cotton for a spray again out of HB for £1. Quite a few of the girls on her really rate the mitchum deo but I found this too strong for my sensitive underarms. No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -

Me too. I had a bath earlier and used my exfoliator and mask. Have added CG Ruby Slippers to my ring fingers. Looks very festive. Am now downloading Michael Buble Xmas CD successfully to my phone and have downloaded Xmas tree live wallpaper to it. I fear I may have peaked too early. This is coming from someone who is always bemoaning "Keep it in December!".kiplingmonkey wrote: »Yes I did - I feel so proud of myself. I don't blame you kiplingmonkey. I thought the plum mascara would become limited edition as it was in the flash sale about a week ago. I am hoping MrM got me one as he won't let me open the Benefit parcel to "check" the items he got for Emma lol x
Well done on again not buying the TSV. Will you be avoiding the Laura Geller one too? We are in York that day so I'm going to go to great pains not to watch any of it. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Good on you kiplingmonkey for resisting the vanilla hand cream
I have not been resisting! I fancied some Body Shop stuff, and the 50% offer drew me in:
INs
Body Shop Chocomania Body Butter 200ml
Body Shop Cocoa Butter Body Butter 200ml - one of my favourites and fancied a repurchase for the winter months
Body Shop Mask 3 in 1 Honey & Oat 100ml
Body Shop Mask 3 in 1 Blue Corn 100ml
Body Shop Mango Shower Gel 250ml
Body Shop Vineyard Peach Shower Gel 250ml
Body Shop Hemp Hand Cream 100ml - free gift
Original Source Raspberry & Vanilla Shower Gel 200ml - smells like milkshake!
Body Shop Coral Aquafine Bath Lily
I don't know why I got the shower gels, I already have 2 and a few mini's in my stash! Grrrr!
I think I got drawn in by the Body Shop offer - it was £25 off £50 spend, and my stuff came to £31 with the hemp hand cream for free. I will get 18% cash back from Quidco, so it should all come in at under £25 - a bargain, but I didn't really need it!
A UU:
Body Shop Chocomania Shower Gel 250ml - WBA, a lovely scent - but have purchased this scent in the body butter so that will do for me
Xxx0 -
Hello again,
more UU :j!
(they are not even a drop in my ocean sized stash though)
Floating bath roses x6- WIBA? I like things like this as a gift, but wouldn't go out and buy them.
Lush space girl bath bomb- WIBA? This is lovelyOne more in the stash for the time being though.
Rimmel BB cream sachet -WIB? Yes, I am really impressed with this, I have one more sachet to use this week, then I fear this may be a purchase. Really fed up of the shiny face my Benefit foundation gives me
BS Wild cherry puree body lotion 250ml WIBA? I like the consistency of this, and have one more in the stash. I'm not sure you can buy it anymore, I may be wrong though.
INs:
Jemma Kidd mascara
Nails Inc nail varnish (the red one)
BS coconut shower cream 60ml
BS satsuma shower gel 60ml
Norfolk lavender soap
Norfolk lavender shower gel
Radox spa care wellbeing bubble bath x2
Radox spa care wellbeing shower gel x2 - my absolute favourite Radox scent that has been discontinued, but I found in a little chemist on my travels- so I stocked up
Plus several sachets:
Nivea primer x3
Rimmel BB cream x20 -
evening all,
a quick post and run:
GA L'occitane rose petals hand cream 30ml
happy pampering, xo0 -
Two more UU's to report after a long pampering and trying to feel human again both:
Body shop scrub cranberry
Pantene ice shine conditioner
The conditioner is fine, I tend to bounce between Pantene, Herbal Essences and John Frieda along with a few others that are on regular offers. The large size conditioner has lasted me ages though, must be at least three months. I cut it open and got another 7-10 days of use out of it.
The scrub is ok but I didn't notice much of a difference, or a smell. Got it in the january sales last year and it's probably been open most of that, but have another scrub in jolly orange along with about a dozen different brands of scrub to get through, before I think about buying any more.0
