WEN Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner, 60ml - WBA, lovely conditioner. The smell is amazing and really refreshing and my hair has felt so soft when using it :)

INs - two of the facial oils from Etat Pur (arg, itallics!). I have eczema and skin problems & these were highly recommended to me.

Never heard of this but would be interested to know how you get on with them as I also have eczema and other skin problems.

Ok i must be in the minority here but as much as its thick and greasy my skin on my face really thanks me for this as a night cream ...although i find i have to apply it 30 mins before bed to allow it time to "soak in" or else u get weird white marks on dark sheets and pillow cases.

My mum never used anything other than Nivea and she hardly had any wrinkes - and she was 90 when she died.

  • Morning everyone ..... no-one got a Wave then?

mmmmm not sure what to do - which probably means I shouldn't buy another one :rotfl:

No UU for me in the past couple of days :( but a couple of things looking like they're nearly empty:D

Nivea ...... I have loads of 1/2 used tubs of this - wondering if I've fallen into the "it's cheap" and bought it in the past & then not been able to use it. They do a really good day moisturiser that's not thick & greasy that I will swear by (and use under my foundation every day) but the thick stuff ....:(

I will post about this in next month's thread as I want to give it a good test. As I said before they were very highly recommended to me and were not as expensive as I thought so fingers crossed they will work.

On the subject of original Nivea, I used it as a teenager and was never troubled with spots. You need to be sparing with it. I know several older ladies who have used nothing else and have very good skin so don't write it off just yet.

Have a few uu and a TA

TA - Balance me rose lip salve, this was a mag freebie ages ago and from new it has had little crystalised bits in it which feel horrid, also it is very runny so I have binned it. Have replaced it on my bedside table with a boots cocoa butter and mallow lip balm.

UU - Olay Nature fusion Day cream - this was rejected as face cream some time ago in my cull of products with acne causing ingredients so this was used up as foot cream. Nice texture though and in hindsight would probably have been fine for my face as P&P caused all the problems.

UU - BS Sweet lemon body butter - 50ml.

    UU - Benefit sample moisturiser
UU - Benefit sample foaming face wash.

    Have a good day all.

A UU - Primark facial day cream with SPF 15, cost 50p in a reduced bin so would buy again. Nice scent, and has SPF which I always make a point of using all year round and very good price! :rotfl:

I have been known to saw through these kind of bottles :o carefully!! :rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I would need some steady hands and nerves of steel for that one!

One UU from last night - Nivea Facial Wipes - WBA and have another one in my stash.

I am thinking about heading to the cinema tonight to see the new Twilight film. It would need to be a late show as all of the earlier ones are sold out but think tonight is going to be very cold out. Not sure if I will be able to get off the sofa.

Was driving home from Asda last night and realised there was a brand new Home and Bargain store close to where I live - now I know how Christopher Columbus felt when he discovered America :rotfl:

I went in today and actually managed to not buy any toiletries even though I bought all sorts of other odds and ends.

I saw a poster in work today about a collection for food hampers. They were also asking for toiletries so I will see what I can dig out Should be able to get rid of some of the stash and pass it on to someone who needs it so win, win :D
