Ill keep it for this year then but if it doesnt flower then I guess it can go LOL
As it happens its not in the way and it does look pretty so its no hardship to keep it for now
Thanks so much
Does it come back each year? If so, unless you have a very sheltered garden, it's not cosmos. It's only *half hardy* so will expire in the frost.

Does look a bit like cosmos but mine aren't normally that leafy - I would have thought it would be a bit early for that as well - cosmos is frost tender. Don't know what else it could be though

I thought it might be Dill or Fennel, but it seems very lush and leafy. Lucky you! I like the look of it.

Is it "Love-in-the-mist" or "Nigella"?
This has pretty blue flowers, self-seeds and spreads a bit like a weed. I quite like it though, you can always pull it up if you want to plant something else.0 -
It looks very much like Artemisia abrotanum (also known as southernwood or tall wormwood)
try here for more info or here
It's actually a herb, but not very exciting in terms of flowers. Personally i'd just keep a couple of small clumps for its attractive foliage"A bargain is something you can't use at a price you can't resist." Franklin Jones0 -
