Ring Mind or Rethink for some advice. He might be entitled to various benefits: Disability Living Allowance (not means tested) and Employment and Support Allowance. Clearly his financial worries will not be helping his mental state.

Yes, it is possible to fully recover, even from severe suicidal depression. Stress won't help him to do this though. I know you're trying to help him but I think you need to be very careful that you don't interfere and make things much worse. Resigning was not sensible. He would presumably have still been getting sick pay if he was still in employment.

1. Write to the company giving them 14 days to pay the 20 days holiday he is entitled to upon leaving that he has not taken.
2. Tell them (in a letter) that the allegation of theft was made on <date>, there you are giving them 14 days to list all evidence with which they are basing the allegations on, otherwise you will conside the matter closed.
3. Take your brother on holiday to the sea side. The fresh air and some chips will do him good!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
