The random door slamming may not be enough but as it appears intentional and added to verbal abuse from her and threats from visitor, and pet poisoning if provable, can be considered as antisocal behaviour.
The noise monitor evidence can prove a statuary noise nuisance but is not required for court action.
Most mobile phones have a voice recorder. If possible, try recording the threats and verbal abuse.

I really don't think door slamming alone is enough of a "crime" for anything to happen, but if you have proof of the other events - such as the pet poisoning, then I would concentrate on this rather then the doors (as surely this is the more serious matter.)

Our upstairs neighbours seem unable to do anything quietly, even walking, but we've got used to it now, as if you have thin walls or ceilings some noise is inevitable.

No she's partyied constant for years, my children can't sleep at the weekends. It's constant slamming from 6.55am to midnight or after sometimes all night and knocking on our walls. Police seem to think its serious as have witnessed it and have opened a case file, next step is noise monitor then court. They say she could be evicted, or go to prison.

Yes we have got the noise on a mobile phone and we have 5 neighbours who have heard her and all gave statements against her as she is harassing them too.

Cheapskate for 8 months I haven't sleep all night or my children as she vibrates the cupboards and hot press and internal doors til she wakens us. We are all shattered. My little 5year old has started to pick holes in her face and arms and won't leave my side, she has been diagnosed with stress by 2 drs.

It's really difficult to follow the case if you keep adding to it and changing it. In the OP you said "In march my neighbour had a party and got police visit about noise since then she has hammered and slammed doors ..... since interview last week she does it randomly during the day just the odd slam here and there. Just wondering if anyone else has suffered with this and is he random slam that shws up on monitor enough to take her to court"

She is doing it for hours at a time, Can be all day on and off. On Sunday it was every 10 minutes, her son left her to go with his dad as she treated him bad too.

Do you actually think she is doing it on purpose to annoy you? Maybe she is just heavy handed?

Does she know it was you who called the police / reports her? She may well be doing it to wind you up but I don't think it could be used against her unless she is doing it constantly for hours on end.

Our neighbours downstairs don't seem to be able to open or shut doors quietly - they are just a bit thick (from what we have been told) and probably don't realise how noisy it is - but its only now and again so we don't bother mentioning it.

She's poisoned my dog, fish, switched our pond off in our garden and had a guy outside threatening to put our windows threw.

But the cupboard slamming is what you decided to start a thread about?
