what to do?

Strange one this.
Purchased a item from a private seller, that they had dropped on the floor, the seller went into detail how it happened.
The next day,he lists a identical item, with the same discription.
I have contacted him to ask what's going off,but no reply.
What do I do ...wait to see if my item arrives or contact eBay now.The item cost just under £100.

Have you paid? If so get your money back first- but try suggesting to seller that you would be happy for the newly listed one to be sent instead for your original price and you can repay immediately.

    When was it "dropped"?
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.
  • I suspect it was "dropped" when the seller didn't get as much as they wanted for it :)

    Not explaining myself very well.
The item discription said it had been dropped,I know a bit about these & it looked a easy fix.The discription went into detail of how it happened.I purchased on a BIN.

So you think he is reselling the item you bought?

When did you buy your item, when was it due, has it been dispatched. These could all up help us give you some advice.

Report to eBay. I assume you have been refunded?
You can't make them send but you can report! If they had two, then you would have received the second one as a replacement.

    No refund,no contact.
Not sure if he's a scanner or he is selling a few of these & is using the same lines...my wife dropped it on the floor. The spelling on the auction is very poor,if that means anything.

Depending how long ago you bought it and when it is due (estimated) for delivery open a dispute via PayPal & escalate (as you have been in communication and they are not responding). If they have no tracking then PayPal will most likely close the case in your favour after about ten days if the seller does not respond or provide tracking information.
