    Tried that, they won`t do anything. Customer services probably won`t even know what you are talking about.

    Sending it back is the only option.

    I did read in a follow up article at the register that its for "your own good" as the average customer couldn't be trusted with it....

    i found this online when i was look for info about the tmobile yourworld charges - i think its skype on the mobile.
