Dont suppose the phone comes unlock.
Anyone knows will Vodafon be willing to unlock the phone?0 -
I went for this deal on Friday. Got a call from Vodafone saying the phone will be delivered tomorrow. Thanks OP
ALSO, Vodafone offered me the line rental for £13.50 for *15 months instead of 6 months *IF I take a £10 pay as you go SIM card and cancel when it arrives. I took them up on the offer.
Costs:-
£102 for handset with delivery
£202.50 (£13.50 x 15 months)
£60 (reduce to £20 tarrif for last 3 months)
Minus £82 Quidco.com cashback

Giving a grand total of:-
£282.50 OR £15.70 per month over 18 months!
i.e. An extra saving of around £80 on the original deal posted.
Does that sound like a reasonable deal?0 -
strange, they offerd 13.5*9months = 121.5£ rebate just for taking a PAYG card?0
-
I know, that's what I thought. He disappeared off for a while, then came back with this deal. Just hope there's no strings but he assured me there wasn't.0

Sounding stupid, but if you order online, do they ring you up and the extra sim card and extra months or do you have to ring them up once youve ordered....!!!
also is this a cash back offer...!0 -
Has anyone received theirs yet and can confirm if it is locked to Vodafone please?

I wouldn't buy it from Vodaphone...
See http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/04/18/n95_crippled/
Don't like all these service provider 'improvements'....0 -
Can anyone confirm or deny dejongj's / the registers posting?
This seems a fairly major concern / ripoff?
(Do I understand it right? If the N95's in an accessible wireless network area it will use it's own version of skype at a hugely reduced cost? Even abroad? And vodaphone / orange have disabled this?)0 -
I have 2 n95`s, one sim free and one voda. As described in the video linked to the article, the `Internet Tel` icon is missing from the vodaphone.0

Received the phone last thurday.I t is Vodafone branded and it is locked to vodafone, and it is is missing the internet telephony icon. I'm not so sure this is the "Bargain" I had originally thought now that I know that Vodafone have crippled their N95's. I originally wanted this phone mainly for the WiFi aspect of it for full internet access and associated VOIP calls whist abroad. I will call them up tomorrow and see what (if anything ) they will do about it. If they do nothing, then the phone goes back with another cancelled contract...0
