House is a mess after the weekend, DS3 has a friend here util 1pm so I plan to fly around them.

Well managed to get some stuff done

I've showered and dressed
Put b to bed
Fed and watered both of us
Cleaned the oven
Put a load of washing in
Wiped the sides down
Emptied the upstairs bins
Sorted out my paperwork hotspot in the kitchen
Emptied and loaded the dishwasher
Put it on again
Soaking bottles before washing
Hung nappies out to dry

When I write it down it looks loads

Just chilling with a cuppa before going to strip my bed (ashamed to admit its not been changed for 2 weeks)

Well, I have only decluttered 3.5lb this month. Which is better than gaining. And I suppose I have been a bit naughty particularly last weekend, with two nights on wine and pizza whilst kids were away. Still, I weigh less than when I got married! Hurrah! Must update my sig.

Got paid stuff here although we did make the beds and put all toys away this morning. So, as per my usual Monday morning, everything is clear ready for cleaning on lunchbreak. Hmm

I know its that time of year for creepy crawlies, but we usually get daddy long legs. Not this year, it seems to be centipedes??? I've found 3 indoors in the last 2 days! Never seen them inside before!

Advice to a newbie flylady please!
One of my hotspots is the side in the sideboard where I have crammed all the old video tapes. Should I get rid? I just use it to stuff things in (and hurriedly shut the door) as I never use that side for anything else. Flylady common sense tells me it's time to get rid of them as I haven't (I think) watched any of them since I moved 2 years ago...

I'd get rid - even charity shops don't want them these days. Anything you really want you will get on DVD!

Lovely to see you back Seafarers! I have stripped 2 beds (and remade), 1 was DS's bed and I've found an extra washload in that room!!!

I have already done loads of washing - goodness only knows how i'm going to dry it! And I have more to do.

And I am all but ready to throttle DD2's boyfriend!

Off to start the list i have written out.

House vaguely dusted, but in the process I realised there are a few sticky patches - yik yik yik - that need a bit of attention, the shower room will need to be given a fairly thorough S&S every day for at least a fortnight and the kitchen sink could do with a bit of TLC. I'm going again for another HH now.

yeah, I arrived at work to find a sticky patch on the desk as well as crumbs everywhere so have cleaned desk and hoovered round.
