  • How did you all get on?
In my HHC I cleared & wiped the worksurfaces, washed up the pots that don't go in the DW, loaded DW, wiped microwave, cleaned the big part of the sink, wiped the hob, cleaned the front of half the cupboards & popped over to the gagrage to see if they have anything to do with the Volvo in front of our house (they don't :().
No sign of any workmen yet :(

May look at my emails, bank accounts & essay, while I am on here.

    Extras
    Meal plan
    Wipe and water plants
    HHI

    Well in my 2 x HHCs I've

Emptied and reloaded WM & TD
    Put dishes away
    Washed more dishes
    Wiped surfaces I can see
    Washed dogs bowls
    Washed floor where he eats
    Wiped cupboard and drawer fronts
Started to clear a hotspot on 1 of the sides by pairing up socks and sorting underwear

The kids have now decided that they want to go to Fenton Manor today which wasn't on my itinerary - I'd planned on tomorrow. I've only got to take them but it'll take about an hour to go there and back and then the same when I pick them up. I need to pick up a bit of shopping while I'm out too.

    Better get dressed then!

    Catch you all later

Thanks for the lists JulieJim. I'm in again this week. I had a wonderfully productive couple of days on Friday and Saturday as we have a rather odd assortment of people arriving and staying at the moment, so I had to get everything sorted before the hoard descended. They're all in and the house looks pretty good. I even defrosted the kitchen fridge on Friday, so that's one job I can cross off right away.

The house badly needs dusting. It takes me 30 minutes just to do the minimum nescessary with a skim and for some reason I put it off for weeks at a time, although I don't understand why. It's not as if it's hard work. (I moved some flowers to the other side of the chimney breast on Saturday in the hope that they will draw people's eyes up and away from the shelf that looks dusty if I don't do it every week. It's the first place people's eyes rest on when they come in the door. We'll see if the plan works.

Anyone care to join me at 10.00?
    Better is good enough.
