    id just like to say that testing electrics with a wet finger really isnt the way to do it. You are wasting time by wetting your finger. Its much safer and faster to go straight in with your tongue after a nice cuppa

    Not enough salt in Tea. Try Red Bull - it gives you wings :A and they will come in handy on the ascent to see St. Peter.

    Meanwhile I am writing to British Standards and VDE to tell them they have been getting it wrong about approving neon testers all these years and that they should have asked a few plumbers and copier engineers who know better. :idea:

    didn't mean you.. my guess is UPS engineer? anyway don't want to start a bun fight about it, all are entitled to their opinions :beer:

    Nor me - I've got my certificate and paperwork from the Engineering Council to prove it (They're the people who certify real engineers - as opposed to use who use the title 'cos it sounds good and have never heard of this organisation)
