Bosch offer a 2 year warranty as long as you register it with them-otherwise it's one year.
So in effect the same as JL offer.
JL own brand models now give 3 years. I have just got one. If you buy Bosch, they keep sending you invitations to extend your service guarantee. I have had several already for my oven and hob in just 2 months.0 -

Yeah, how else do they make money, if you only replace their appliances every decade or two?! Especially when they're only about half the price of the equivalent Miele...0 -
We bought Siemens in our last house, 5 year warranties which we ironically never had to use.
6 years on it was still working when we moved out and left it.0 -
Just beware with Miele. I have one of their dishwasher's, paid over £500 and 1 month out of their 2 year warranty an electrical component went and the call out charge alone was £111. Another 6 months later and the PCU has gone another £111 call and £150 part. I couldn't get any other engineer to touch Miele so they have you over a barrel. Never again!!0

The below link shows you which Siemens get the current warranty offer. You can find your local retail partner from the Siemens site. At mine the SN26M253 is £539 as per other link below.

As someone said earlier: there's no such thing as a free lunch. If the 5-yr warranty is "included" you can bet they're factoring this into the price. Still thanks for the links - interesting.0 -

It's a limited time promotion. They normally come with a 2 year warranty as standard at the same price.0 -

No, various models come with 5 years at different times during the year rather than the standard two years. Its not a catch or like "DFS intereest free credit" !
Have had to call Siemens support recently and service was excellent and response time within 2 working days calling on a 5 year warranty (not our dishwasher)0
