How much is my number plate worth?

I wish to sell my number plate and I was wondering how much you guys think my number plate is worth roughly. It is L17 AYA.

    To me - absolutely zilch. TBH I can't see that that combination of letters and numbers makes anything intelligible.

    What is it supposed to look like?

    Appears to be a standard plate, unless you find someone called Litaya I suppose. Not a very common name?

    Not a lot. For numbers to be worth much they need to be (with a few exceptions) pre 1963.

    Why not pick a price and stick it on EBay at a BIN and then drop the price every week until it sells. I would expect to sell for less than £500 if at all, but who knows.
  • Well, as it's a '17' number, it has already been bought as a cherished plate. Maybe the person who originally bought it - maybe they had the initials AYA - would be interested.

    To be perfectly honest though, I think it's worth tiddly squat.
