rang 3 yesterday to ask when my 18 month contract ends,
they said 15th june,
I said I want to up-grade when can I do this,
they said now,
they offered me,
any phone of my choice
I picked the sony ericsson W850i
they asked me which tariff I'd like to pick
I said the direct talker 1000
this is
750 xnet mins
150 texts
50 picture messages
50 video mins
£5 worth of downloads
each month
for £35.
but wait,
1st 6 months at 1/2 price £17.50
then 6 months at £35,
this is what I normally have
so any money off is great,
2 contracts
1 for home/family/friends
1 for business use,
anyway
it was suppose to come today
it didnt:mad:
when I rang them
they said it had been delivered and signed for
I blow my top:mad:
they put me on hold
they then said sorry
it was in collections and would be delivered tomorrow,
I said if it isnt what do I do
ring the police:mad:
they said no get back to us on 333
I said yes I will
but dont you dare try to accuse me of taking delivery of something I have not again,
very very very angry with them
would not recommend them to anyone,
very poor service,
cw

I had something similiar with student finance direct last year but the other way round. Sent all my forms off and hadn't heard anything so I rang them and they said they hadn't received anything so would have to do it again. That's interesting I said because according to the royal mail it was delieved on X day and signed for by a Mr X. Oh i'm terribly sorry they said yeh we do actually have it but just havent processed it. Why tell me you hadn't received it then when you know full well that you have grrr

    thanks tori
    but no am not really,
maybe I will tomorrow if the phone turns up
I have had a frozen shoulder for awhile now,
    keeps coming and going,
but when I go to the doc's
    its not that bad
    typical,
    and its playing up again,
so in a bad mood to begin with,
just has made things worse really,
I cannot stand firms who say things
making you feel as if you've done something wrong,
then talking to you in a patronising way,
if I hadn't mentioned the police
they would not have done anything about it,
and I wouldn't have to wait in again tomorrow,
I bet you a dime it wont turn up tomorrow,
    parcel line,
I bet they have there own stolen goods business going on the side,

    Why do
    you keep
    pressing the Return
    key after
    typing a few
    words?

    You don't
    have to, you
    know?

cos when I first came on here someone pulled me up about writing like this in long sentences, and said it would be better like this, or this and that, so I started writing like they wanted me to and they left me alone had to turn off private messages for awhile, because they were quite consistent about it, I kept thinking that it was maybe someone I knew just having a joke, but no just a !!!!!! on here, probably some snotty nosed kid who has nothing better to do and is taking english O level at school,
    cw:rolleyes2

this forum does seem to have quite afew petty minded members on it,
and not really in the mood today.
    :mad:still haven't got my phone,
it's on a van between me and york,
    some 40-50 miles distance,
have a feeling 3 are just passing the buck onto me, so that I can't cancel the contract, which they haven't heard the last off yet, by giving me a consignment number they have just rubbed me up the wrong way more and more, it's there fault the phone is missing, where do phones go to when they go missing, mobile phone dump, or are they just roaming, mine seem's to be roaming the country side in a big van somewhere between york and whitby, and getting me more and more angry
3 is not the magic number.

I feel your pain!!! 3 customer service is the pants.

You can cancel the contract do it in writing and use recorded delivery or fax and keep copies.

I ended up taking 3 to OFCOM over a duplicate phone bill. This still didn't stop them so I threaten them with costs every time they contacted me about the phone bill and I had to respond.

If they accuse you again of signing for a delivery you haven't received threaten them with court action in writing for stress and breach of contract.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

I have now come to the concussion that!
    next day delivery
    does not exist
as tomorrow it will still say next day delivery,
and yesterday said next day delivery,
    like tomorrow is today
    and today was yesterday,
so they dont exist, in theory,
    5.19pm and still no phone,

    I know what you mean,
I reported my phone missing one christmas,
they sent me new phone and sim card as insurrance covered it,
then after new year sent me a bill for £600 pounds from the lost phone,
I have never paid this bill,
because all the calls were made after the phone was missing,
    but I stayed with them
    WHY!!!!!!
now I am really going to get the hell away from them
second hand service they dish out to valued customers,
I'd rather go back to pay as you go
    than have this head ache
and why do I have to track the phone down,
they sent it they should use a reliable service then they wouldnt have this problem,
    cw:mad:
    5.27pm and still no phone.
