When the phone does arrive, if you really are sure you don't want to stay with 3 then refuse to accept the delivery, that way you haven't entered into the contract with them and you can then leave 3 in June. To be honest though they are all as bad as one another when it comes to upgrade. I had problem after problem with Vodafone whom i have just parted company with and O2 a few years ago. If you are taking out a new contract they make sure you receive the phone on the specified day but not if its a upgrade, that doesn't matter.

This is an age old courier trick. They do it to to fool their systems so their delivery figures look better. A customer card left is basically a delivery as far as KPI's are concerned, not attempting delivery (as in your case) is a failed delivery and effects the depots figures.

Some people are never satisfied. You say you are going to shout at the delivery driver, how in any way could it be his fault?

If he hasnt got the parcel on the van in the first place, what can he do?
