    That all looks ok.

Test Internet Explorer and see if the popups occur using that. If not & the popups are exclusive to chrome, it could be a chrome extension causing it. I have something that you can run to list the chrome extensions but let's see if it is just chrome first.

Or you could disable the extensions.
    • Click the Chrome menu SNP_2696434_en_v1 on the toolbar.
    • Select Tools
    • Select Extensions
    • Uncheck the box marked Enabled for all extensions

    Thank You,

    I will try & browse in I.E 8 & see what happens.

If I did uncheck the extensions, what would that stop chrome doing?

    Thank You

    Luckyone xxx

    No, no pop up's in I.E 8

But i would prefer to use chrome. So if I stop the Extensions what does that stop Chrome doing?

    Thank You xxx

You add extensions to add extra functionality. Temporarily disabling them does no harm.

It's like pop up central here!.

Ok I have unchecked games I have downloaded about two weeks ago, that may be the problem. The only other thing I can see is Roboform

I now have just got Roboform checked as I use that many times a day.

I will now see if I get any pop ups.

Holding my breath here I go!

    Thank You

    Have you tried Internet Explorer?

Update Malwarebytes & run a quick (not full) scan. Post the log.

    It's stopped.....I think.

I say I think because it stopped yesterday then came back today.

I tried in I.E & no pop up's. So I unchecked all extentions in Chrome except roboform as I use that a lot every day.

    And so far so good............

I think it could of been a few chrome extention games I downloaded from chrome two week's ago. It must of been them. I am hoping it was them lol.

I am really hoping I don't have to come back to this!. Please stay away pop ups...please stay away pop ups lol.

How do I thank you enough!.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

    Fingers crossed.

    See how you go.

You could try re-enabling the extensions one by one and then see if the popups return after enabling any particular one. You can then remove it by clicking on the dustbin icon next to it.

If not there's other stuff we can try.
