The other thing we have to do is decide if we need to both go bankrupt or not, depends on what name is on each debt I suppose... what about joint debts, can they be signed off from just one partner or do they require both?

    THANK YOU to everyone.
  • What happens to my Joint Debts if I go into Bankruptcy?
If two people have joint liabilities and one goes into bankruptcy, those joint liabilities then become the sole responsibility of the non-bankrupt debtor.

  • Alan if you could list your income and expenditure and any debt repayments you are currantly paying we can see if theres a way of getting the fees together and also if your eligable for the slightly reduced fees .

    Alan,

Are you repaying any debt at the moment that you could stop paying to be able to save for the fees?

    Hi GIS,

Haven't seen you around for a while, how are things with you? I saw one of your posts with your weekend working hours; they seem quite demanding :(
